| Big Bear run on July 22nd.
I'm looking to get a small group of people together to do a run in Big Bear on Sunday, July 21st. I know most of you are Big Beared out, but the desert is just too dang hot this time of year. Because of school, I haven't had a chance to get out in months. I'm going withdrawals!
I start a new class on the 22nd, so I'm planning to have my paper for the first week written by Saturday and spend Sunday on the trails. I'm thinking of starting early and doing something in Big Bear and heading toward home via Dishpan Springs, Silverwood and Cleghorne Rd. Anyone interested?

Can't make this one...I'll be doing Holcomb and maybe Gold Mtn the following weekend (July 28-29) with the local club I belong too ( www.capovalley4wheelers.org ) I happen to be the President of the club this year, so I'd better go with the boys! Plus, that'll be my quota for the month with the wife! :chair:

I'd love to join up Brian but I can't make it. I'll be in Hawaii until Saturday, home for 24 hrs, then up to Portland Sunday evening (all for work).

It was pointed out to me that in the original post I say Sunday the 21st when in fact Sunday is the 22nd. Just to clear things up, The run is on Sunday, July 22nd like it says in the thread title. Sorry for the confusion....

Of course there will be pictures!!! I got a huge memory card for my camera so that I can take bunches. It holds so many that the counter can't count that high, only goes to 999

Usually we run Saturdays, but Brian's got junk he's got to do, so this time it's sunday. I have to work the next day too, so does Brian I'm sure. Come out anyways

How about we meet at the fire station in Fawnskin at 9:00am on Sunday and hit the trail by 9:30.
The plan is to do Lower Larga Flats, Dishpan Springs, Silverwood, and Cleghorn Ridge to the I15.
If you think you are going to go, please PM me and I'll give you my cell number incase you are running late. Chris, if you want to caravan again, let me know and we'll meet somewhere in town. We'll be on CB17 if you happen to be in the area and want to hook-up with us.

I can't be out too late on a Sunday.... and that's a mighty big list but I'm up for it if we can make it. I can find my way home now if I have to bail cuz we're not done early enough though, so no worries.

My plan is to be back to Temecula by 5:00. If we run late, we can bail on Cleghorn Ridge and just take the road down to the freeway. If we keep the group small and keep moving, we shouldn't have any problems making it back by 5:00ish.

We're SoCal down near Los Angeles. Maybe one of these days. Check the Western Region area. We're planning a big get together in August. Maybe you can make it then. It's a whole weekend.

i wont be able to make it either i gotta work on the jeep. I just fixed the front axle joint on the track bar, and i gotta do rear brakes and clean up wiring.
