Big Bear Run this Sat 6.9

This Saturday we will be doing a "Difficult Run" in BB. The trails will be both Dishpan Springs (starts in Arrowhead) and Holcomb Creek. The trails are both rated difficult. Although the rating varies by trail, I would recommend 1 axle be locked and that your jeep be fully capable. (Lift kit, tires etc) We will be meeting at the Pinnacles OHV Site in Lake Arrowhead at 10AM. We will take the Willow creek (mild) trail 3n34 to Deep Creek. From there on through Dishpan past Crabb flats to 3n16 to Holcomb 3n93, ending up in Holcomb Valley area in BB. Should be a great ride, very nice weather and take aprox 5 hrs including a stop for lunch. Let me know if there are questions.

Rules:
** NO DRINKING on the trail
Spare within 2" of tire size
Jack, Seat belts, Recovery points front/rear

Encouraged/Advised equipment:
- Fire extinguisher
- Recovery strap
- Plenty of water
- Lunch, snacks
- CB Radio
- Air compressor/air down tools
- First aid kit

Sounds good, thats 2 + the camera right Im hoping we have about 5-10. I think we have 5 at this point. Thats why I said the part about "Fully Capable" on this one because were doing the two trails and with too many people, we would be ther all day. Rick has a good run going on Gold Mountain with quite a few jeeps, so there are options.

No worries on the air, just given you a hard time. I would be more worried that you dont have a spare....

Either way works for me...Just changes are starting point. Once we know who all is coming, we can decide. May just be the 5...

Ha...no Dave, I never said 35s. I said well equiped Delano said 35s. Coop is on 33s as well. So with that being said, I would be more than happy to have you attend in your "very well outfitted" Jeep. should I put you down as a yes?

I would like to go but I am doing some fender mods with some new MCE fatties and a JK turn signal upgrade. After I munched my front right fender at Cleghorn a couple weeks ago I decided to make the switch. I guess you got your Jeep up and running.

Before long, our jeeps may end up looking like twins on the trail

You should be fine.... Are your tires you have on how healthy? I don't see BB as being a place you can puncture anything... I ran the hammers with bald a$$ 38s no spare.... But that's my story, always good to come prepared, but u should be fine

You didnt get flamed...just saying that you can be well equipped and trail worthy without having 35s as you noted. Dave is very trail worthy as well. We will be "light and bright" with the small number of jeeps we have going....as long as I can hear my engine running over your loud music.

Yeah, I am up and running and ready for a test.

I am curious on how your MCE Flatties turn out. I have been wanting a fender change and not sure which way to go...what width? Anything for the rear?
