One of the guys i work with family owns and runs a t-shirt shop in LA. They have done our troop and sqd shirts. I can talk to him tomorrow and let you know. The shirts they have done for us have been around 15 bucks a shirt. Thats with a front and and back logo.

Ok, I just worked out my weekend to attend this fine cause. I'll be at Hanna at 9:30 on Saturday morning, and run what works for the amount of rigs we have. Btw, heatbreak shouldn't be considered a beginner trail, unless you bypass a couple of sections. The trip thru Pontiac Sleuce has a good rock section that may have stock jeeps scratching their heads, then the climb up to the ridge is steep and more rocks. After heartbreak, the last boulder section that was pictured in last weeks run had even the built rigs tipping on three wheels. We can get everyone through it, but figure it to be an all day trip.
See you all Saturday with more raffle prizes from Jeeperformance!

Stan is right, there may be some tough spots that some will need to bypass.

We will make the call on the ground, but if necessary I don't have a problem with peeling off with a smaller group that wants to bypass the rough stuff.

We may also have to split the run up into two groups if it gets too large. We'll handle all that Saturday morning and try to make it as painless as possible! Just bear with us!!

Well, I haven't had a chance to update the list but we are well over 40 rigs at this point!!! So we need to split the run up for sure or we will be doing Heartbreak ridge into the night. One option (option 1) is to have one group enter at 2N02 and the other at 2n01 and exit at the opposite spots. We can split the group up at camp Saturday morning, that shouldn't be a problem. I just hope we don't get bound up in the middle somewhere.

The other option (option 2) is to have one group run Heartbreak the other run Holcomb, JB or Gold Mountain etc..My preference is option 1 because I want all of us to pay our respects on Heartbreak ridge. No matter what this is going to be an all day run. SO the option of doing Heartbreak or Gold Mountain after is out unless some want to do a night run and miss the libations and raffle at camp...

The Sunday runs will not change. We can also add a Gold Mountain run as an option Sunday as well as kind of an intermediate option.

I'm thinking for trail leaders I would like Stan (JPi) as the leader for one of the Heartbreak runs, if he's ok with that, as he just ran them last weekend, and myself or Joe leading the other one. Unless someone wants to volunteer that knows the trails really well. We will assign mid gunner and tail gunner the day of the run.

Either way, this is going to be an EPIC weekend! Is it Friday yet???

For anyone coming from Ft. Irwin, I'll be heading out of here around noon tomorrow if you want to tag along. I'll have to make a couple stops for supplies in Barstow, but I plan on being up at camp at 1500. Just let me know so we can set up a meet time.

I'm regretfully going to have to pack up camp and head home early on Sunday. So I will not be leading the Devil's Hole run. Not quite the day for it anyways according to the forecast; I will likely be heading up there again later in the summer for some swimming so I'll post it up through the forum and AA4W channels.

Camping - 16
Saturdays Run - 28 confirmed, 10 maybes
Sundays Run - 5 confirmed, too many maybes to count

Weather wise we are still looking good for Saturday, but a system moving in is dropping the temps on Sunday and giving us a small chance of rain.

I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere in the post but where are we meeting? The first post says Hanna flats camp group. Are we meeting at a particular campsite or the entrance? Never been there so any guidance is appreciated! By the way my first BB wheeling trip super excited for this and to support a great event.

Ya Site 51 is my camp. We will stage for the trails around the exit of Hanna Flats probably due to our size. If you want raffle tickets prior to the run then come on by the camp. I have a Black (ish) 2012 JKU with the top and doors off on 37's. Hard to miss. It's a relatively small campground so you'll see all of the Jeeps once you get to the entrance to the camp. Most of us will be on the left as you enter.

A few last minute reminders.

Alright everyone I'm fixin' to hit the road. So here are a few reminders:

>Aaron is staying in Site 51 and I will be in site 54.

>If you are doing a day trip on Saturday, try to be at the campgrounds ready as early as possible. We will depart from the campgrounds for Heartbreak Ridge NLT 1000.

PLEASE HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS BEFORE WE DEPART!!!

>Raffle tickets will be on sale for $20 a piece until we depart for the run. 100% of money collected will go to Wounded Warrior Project. Prizes will be drawn after the run back at the campgrounds. There are some pretty epic prizes so you won't want to miss this!

>We will also start collecting for the entrance fee for the Memorial Day Parade in Canoga Park. It works out to roughly $12 per vehicle, and we have to cap it at 20 rigs.

>For those sticking around or coming up for Sunday's run. The weather forecast is calling for cooler temps (mid 50's) on Sunday with an increasing chance of rain by the afternoon. Prepare accordingly.

>Saturday is still looking good, sunny and 70. But it will be chilly in the morning and evening.

>Don't forget there will be a potluck Saturday evening for those who want to stick around for it. If you plan on participating, please bring something to share!

>Be flexible Saturday morning, if there is a large turnout then we will have to make some last minute adjustments.

>Snakes are out now so watch your step. Remember baby rattlers don't have their rattles yet!

I think that just about does it. I'll see you up there!!

So sick and under the weather, but am really wanting to make this trip for wounded warriors.

Heading out now to pop the doors off and driving up. Shooting for site 51.

If anyone gets this in time and can PM their contact info that would be great. CB is out of commission.

Man o Man was this a great run. Cruised the town of BB and had like 32 Jeeps. Critter and Joe put on a great run. We did a couple of fun trails and had some kinda great time meeting a bunch of new people. To all you Guys and Gals who are serving and showed up. Here is My "Salute Smiley" Thanks for your service and for showing up. Rhonda Rocked it in her no lift, peg leg, stock flares and chrome tube bars TJ. She followed Stan everywhere he went. And the Young Marine in front of me named Joel? Sorry bad on names. Bone stock, brand new JKU auto, first trail ride ever and he nailed it. Flexed his way and climbed the rocks like a pro. What a ball we had. Looking forward to next time.
