PM'd you a link to a higher res one. It's on Fort Irwin's MWRs facebook page, but I seriously am about to print them out an put them in windshield wipers. There are a couple guys here on post that have full AEV setups and I've never once seen dirt on the tires, needs to be rectified.

I always laugh when I see those guys. Would be great to get them on the trail!

I just found out that the Military Annual Pass also gets you discounts on the campgrounds. 50% discount to be exact. Definitely worth the time to pick one up if you are active duty.

I might be able to make this. Just wondering about the cost: Is it $100? I can't tell from the OP.

It's whatever you want to give, no minimum. The $100 is the initial fee that we need to pay WWP to make this an official event, not a per person cost.

The link to the donation site is in the OP. I'll be donating come pay day!

lol ... Sorry I'm bored ... I'm literally staring at the internet waiting for it to do something ...

BTW ... It looks that you can reserve campsites now even though Hanna Flats doesn't open until April 26th. Another thing I'll be doing on payday.

So I've registered this event with the Wounded Warrior Project. Just waiting on their event approval and boxes of swag to make this an official charity event. So come on people, lets make this a big event! Please show your support here Jeep Wrangler Forum Veteran Support Run by Aaron Mallary - GoFundMe or just show up at the event to have a great time.

Yeah we have those too. Can tell with in a minute of talking to 'em they just want the look and not the adventure that goes along with it.

Thanks for the photo, will start tomorrow attempting to get this loaded up on the EAFB website... Knowing the AF as I know it now, there is probably a form to fill out, a committee to vote on it and who knows what all else has to go into to it.

Need to see if the boys up at China Lake can help us out from their area.

Lots a wheelers up there too.

I couldn't find the flyer on the FT Irwin MWR FB page. I looked on their main site as well. Does it take a while to get it posted?

They just let me advertise on their wall so it's off on the side as "Recent Posts by Others". It's right here:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

I'm going to do the same thing on Fort Irwin proper's facebook ... and starting monday I'm printing out flyers and sticking them in windows. I've also emailed a local off-road shop that I know that is ran by vets.

Looks great man. I should have WWP magnets, stickers, bracelets etc at the event too.
It's time to start coordinating the runs. We can have easy, moderate and advanced runs. I'm thinking one big group up to Heartbreak ridge, then we can split up into individual groups to run Holcomb, JB etc.. Man I can't wait!

I have already been thinking about follow-on runs. I'd love to do JB or Dishpan but I'm not sure if my rig would be up to it yet without sliders and its lcg ... so I'll probably take on some of the more moderate runs

I'm thinking Gold Mountain/Jacoby/Horsethief Flats

I really want to run Holcomb Creek ... so I might join along if there is a group doing that and there isn't a call for a more moderate group

Ya I like the idea of a Gold Mountain and Holcomb run. I can lead the Gold Mountain run. I'm not real familiar with the Heartbreak Ridge run except where it starts. I've been there before but we got lost lol..
