Pitch it to JPI.

Weird. Feels like a little daja-vu

Haha. Phil I seen you wheel, you need a run flat moose tube in your tires like in the Baja motorcross bikes. :teehee:

I was wanting some solid rubber (never flat), but then I would have to decide on something equal to 12 pounds all the time or maybe closer to 24 to get back and forth to the trails. It's always something isn't it??

Knocked the grocery shopping out. Got some black label tri tips to BBQ/Smoke, stoufers Mac and cheese, garlic bread for Friday night. Saturday nights dinner will be BBQ/Smoked ribeye roast, roasted potatoes and vegetables, and garlic bread. Got desert for one night, claim jumper apple pie and vanilla ice cream. And I picked up some steak and cheese manifold burritos for lunch. The rest of today is all about loading stuff up, like firewood, BBQ,etc.

You better starve yourself before you get there Skylar, got a lot of food and now I'm hearing Zombie is whimping out on us and only coming out on Saturday. He's worried about scratching his wheels up.

Only 3 1/3 more hours of work before I get to (hopefully) leave! Treated myself to pizza and a beer on my lunch for the occasion! I can't wait to mash some rocks

Well I can't figure out how to edit the first post on WF here, so here's the update:

Hey dudes. Couple of us are going out to Calico after Thanksgiving for some fun on Odessa and Doran. Anybody is welcome to come along!
Recommend 33s, armor and driving skill!
Hotshot will be getting out there Thursday and staking out a spot in the camp ground (save me room for 2 tents Friday night . The rest will be coming and going as schedules allow.
YjKalamity will be already camped out there in a different spot, but we'll swing by Friday morning around 9 or 10 to grab you for a run if you're not hungover :P

What trails and when?
THURS: Hotshot exploration day.
FRI: Meet in the campground by 930 Trails open to discussion, but probably all of them. Night run as well.
SAT: Up odessa, over to wallstreet. Down Doran, per Zombie's request.
SUN: Open for dicussion, I won't be there.

Who's going?
Hotshot (Thurs-Sun)
SkylarM (Fri-Sat)
zombiehunter666 (only a few hours on Sat. if that. maybe.)
SAR JEEP (maybe)
iConic (Fri-Sun)
Rrampley (friday night run)

Let's add the mule canyon offshoot too for Saturday. That's the one with the arch you drive under right?? That's a cool photo opp. We can stage a good group photo.

Good news, looks like the rain report was wrong. May get a drop or two Thursday but the forecast looks good for Friday and Saturday.

Hey I'd like to join in on this! Will people def be hiting the trails Friday? Id have to leave Friday night for work on Saturday. And I am unfamiliar with the area, I have an 04 TJ with 33s and 3.25" of lift. Ive done lots of wheeling at Rausch Creek in PA, just wondering if my jeep and I would be capable for the trails Calico has to offer?

You can pull it up on your phone map too.

My friend and I will be heading up sometime today. Just a few last minute preparations to take care of.

Yeah you'll be alright out there. You'll dig the terrain it's way different then where your use to wheeling in. Yep we will be wheeling both days Friday and Saturday. We can meet the day runners at Peggy Sues diner on both Friday and Saturday morning. Do you know where Peggy Sues Diner is?

Here's a link to Peggy Sues, http://www.peggysuesdiner.com. There's a map on their contact page.
