Please dont flame me for posting a link from another forum but it was the google machines fault i swear.

Has anyone been out here? Thoughts? Looking for something easy and chill with good views. I'm also open to other suggestions that fit the bill.

Thanks!

Yup yup yup, all those trails suggested by Doug are great beginner trails with fabulous views.
Another one to add is Santa Rosa. Going from Anza or from the Lake Hemet side continue towards Palm Springs on the 74. When the road begins to go downhill, its only about 5 miles or so and the trails starts on the right hand side. About 12 miles long, climbs to about 8000 feet or so.
