I'm ok to switch. I did want to see calico for the first time but the desert is always there! I'd bet its cooler in Big Bear anyways...

What trails did you have in mind for Big Bear?

I'd prefer to do Calico. You may end up there a million times this winter, but you know my schedule. And if we end up at BB, you're not allowed to whine about the cold. Lol

I'm really leaning towards BB. I really want to run John Bull again both ways, as well as hit up Dishpan and Holcomb. The only thing I don't like about BB this time of year is it's too cold to do night runs....Calico night runs really are awesome. I'll give it some thought.

I think I'm going to go with Calico after all. I like Robs idea of going to the petroglyphs.

15-20 of Hardball back to Irwin Rd. off of Ft. Irwin Rd., then about an hour and 15 minutes on the dirt. I figure break camp, run up there, check out the glyphs, drag race the lake bed, and head back. It really is something everyone should see, at least once in their life.

I'll tell you what, I've got the geo coordinates saved in the Nav. We can map it from camp, and make a decision then. Sound good?

OK, but I have to tell you..I'm not really feeling that. I had 8 hours to the trails and back last weekend..costs me a bit more in gas than everyone else and it's exhausting. I get that it's cool to look at, but I don't have the extra money for it for one, and two..driving to Calico is far enough for me for next weekend.

If you all really want to do that, I can bow out of this one and stay home. I've had extra expenses the past couple months as it is.

I'm not sure if I'll have the extra money to do the petroglyphs either, I thought it was much closer. I have all my big bills for the year coming up, and I'm just barely able to squeeze this trip in. I just want to be able to crawl some rocks with as many of my friends as possible.

Too much risk for body damage. And he needs decent tires. A lift so he doesn't jack up his junk underneath..not worth the risk..PLUS he's never crawled. Brand new.
