Calico today Sat 3-23-13

Went today to the meet and greet put on by Turdhurdler at Calico just to meet more Jeep people and some that I had already met before. What a blast. I didn't know of all the trails that are available out there, and plenty of mines or basically huge holes in the ground or on the sides of the hills.

So I decided on the easy trail, well, it wasn't all that easy on a stock Jeep with limited clearance. I'm going to wait until Monday before I look under it, as something down there sure took a beating. But, all in all, it was great. I did not think my Jeep could do that stuff, but no real problems.

Thanks Jeff, and hope you have a great wedding on Sunday.

Here are pictures my wife an I took.

Great pics, you wife is like mine she takes an abundance of photos, which is a good thing. For example our last trip to Italy she took 3000.

Anyway it looks like your run was very scenic on mostly fire roads is that correct?

Well, not quite all fireroads, there were a few sections mixed in that were somewhat demanding on anything with low clearance. I need to win the lotto!!

Hey proride... glad you had a good time on the trail! Hopefully nothing was banged up too bad ... Thanks for posting up your photos

Definitely not all fireroads ... we hit a couple small waterfalls and some rock gardens that hopefully gave some folks some more confidence in their and their Jeeps' abilities!

Morning and yes it was tougher than I had expected but... It was amazing! Have a lot more confidence in my self and the jeep than I did before. Can wait to be able to go again.
