Can I borrow our trailer hitch? TJ owners!

Hey guys!

Takin a trip to Laughlin and need to haul a jetski.
Any of you kind fellas mind letting me borrow your tj trailer hitch?
I'd buy one but I don't see too many towing trips in my future to spend $100+ on one of my own.

Please let me know!
It would be for the weekend of the 28th of this month.

I can put a deposit down, and/or I break it I buy it deal. Whatever you feel most comfortable with

Doesn't the hitch get permanently attached? Or you just need the part that slides into the hitch that you attach the trailer to (but that wouldn't be TJ specific)?

Haha which dump is it at??
Alot of guys do that. Since many of them don't fit under aftermarket bumpers, or just outright don't like it.

I would if it didn't cost more to rent one than to buy one of my own

I have one and use it all the time to tow my motorcycle trailer. I would let you use it but to be honest it is a pain in the ass to get the bolts and nuts out of the frame rail. It came with rinky dink nuts to use inside the frame but I tossed those and used some good heavy duty nylon nuts and it was a job to get them in there. Good luck with your search.

OP if you need a new bumper (dont know what you have) this might be a good time to upgrade. A lot of bumpers come with trailer hitches built in to them. Just make sure it comes with the frame-tie-in kit so that it is as strong as possible. It will work for a jetski but dont haul big loads with it.

Yeah you're right, it would be a good investment
It's just too bad I don't have the $$ to buy one at the moment.
