This threads gotten bigger. Took my son up to McIvers cabin on Saturday, theres this rock on the trail and I've never really flexed out the jeep so I figured I try. It did ok. Can't wait for Calico!!

West of Dove springs, You can take SC65 from the 14 all the way to the cabin. You can do that and Last chance in a one day session, its beautiful up there. I've actually camped at the cabin with a bunch of friends.

Long hours? When I was in; parking jets on the USS Forrestal, I worked 18 hr days on deck. Then went down to the coop for a nice cold shower Only to be back on deck 4 hours later.
