That would be cool. I had to miss the last cougar buttes run Lorie did on mjr because of work so I would be on this list for sure. CB is another place I've never wheeled. I wish I could have stayed longer so I could do some night wheeling with you guys and gals, but we had the best time amongst some great people and I can't wait to wheel with you again soon.

Parker and I got super lucky on the drive home. Probably b/c it was so late. We made it in 3 hours. Unheard of normally! But exhausted is putting it midly. What a great day today..talk about a Full day of wheeling. So much fun..no snapped axles. It was a good weekend!

I cant wait to go back. Yep! April 6th may work When I post the thread, you will be the first signed up. Was awesome meeting you. You were as much fun as I thought you were going to be. Sometimes, personalities just shine through on the forum.

She got so excited from having driven over the main Doran waterfall that she teared-up a little. And on the way home she looks over at me while I was driving and said "Did I tell you I drove over Doran's main waterfall!"

We look forward to wheeling with all of you folks again soon. We can't wait to see the pictures and videos.

Man, is anyone else exhausted from this weekend? I think I may be getting old.
Oh hey Bernie I was behind you when Vanessa climbed the waterfall and I believe I have that on video. It may be a couple days before I have time to edit and post but keep your eyes peeled I'll have it up soon. Great meeting you both.

I don't know the trails out there real well yet. And it's much harder than Calico. Unless you bypass everything. I would like to go again but with the people who know it better..a lot of spotting is required out there.

As for our night run, it didnt happen. A few started drinking, including myself and I laid down to take a nap and never got up. Guess I should of set my alarm. Would of been fine around 9 or 10pm. Next time for sure.

No worries. Calico was my first ever rock crawling, still learning the ropes. If you do plan a run Calico or whatever and its not to difficult for a newb I'm in. It was great hanging with you Lorie.....see you soon.

Don't feel bad my fuel tank skid got caved in too
It's pretty scary to look under the jeep after a run like that

You know the only thing I really tag on mine is that factory skid/trans cross member and the crossover pipe. Oh well its on the to do list to get upgraded.

That was an AWESOME weekend, everyone did outstanding. And the group was great! Jess and I had a great time! I'll get the photos we got up tomorrow or Tuesday. And Bernie you can't be that old, im beat as well.

And Russ you did awesome on the gatekeeper attempt. We will find you someone who can spot better then I, and get you up it the rest of the way. And I will take lots of pictures for you so you have proof of doing it! Haha

Thanks for the great weekend as usual Lorie! And I always love getting to see and hang out with our regulars!

Shoot, I would have liked to have seen that! And funny how my "catch phrase" keeps adopting itself to others!

I'm thinking I will be posting up to go back within a coupe weeks..hopefully some of you guys can make it...a lot of my regulars won't be able to make it..

I have a bunch of pics...will try to get them up tonorrow.

So great meeting all of you!

Lorie
Yup--this run was no different than the others in the fun factor!

Thanks again Lorie for putting this together. We too will be one of your/our regulars that can't make it for the April 6th (I think that's the date) run you mentioned. But I have little doubt that it will be fun and entertaining, even if there won't be two handsome guys dancing in sparkly speedos!

I look forward to seeing everyone's pictures and video...

Bernie- what's that yellow thing coming out of your Jeep??

And that strange man in prone position facing down in his Jeep would be Parker being silly...is why we love you Parker!!

Yup my tire pushed up a sizable rock and jammed it between the tire and bumper, there was no moving forward or backwards without breaking an axle or something else. JP lifted my Jeep and then the others worked the big rock out of there. All this while the Jeep sat at a good incline, so I sat in it pressing the brakes down firmly while it was in gear with the parking brakes were also firmly applied.

This is the first time this has happened to me. Glad JP noticed the rock and had me stop, because I would have broke something.

Oh yeah I too hate it when someone not sitting in your driver's seat reaches over, while sitting in their own Jeep, and forces your steering wheel to turn in the wrong direction. This happens to me all the time too.

My sense of direction are as bad as yours--yet you ask me for direction?!?! But who (with help of cellphone GPS) got us to the trailhead?
