I figured that might change your mind.

You win a roller fairlead!

2nd in also wins something, though I don't know what yet.

Woo Hoo! Thank you. I can hardly wait -- What is a roller fairlead? LOL

Does that mean Y'all gotta follow me thru that trail?

No he didn't say Fair leader... he said fairlead

Hint: an accessory to a fairlead would be a winch

Rick I travel again this week and return Friday night, if I don't get in at a crazy time I would join you....

I wish I can join you. My job schedule is been crazy lately. We've been having one deadline after another and working weekends.
Looking at he bright side, Santa might be nice to me this year and get me front locker with chromoly axles and sleeves for my front dana30, yoohoo.
Hope to see you guys soon on the trails.
Joe.

Right on Bill, hope you can make it.

I figure if there's time and Luke is willing, hit up 2N17X after Cleghorn.

Cool Joe. Yeah, front locker and axles would be a great addition.

Who are you btw? I used to know a Joe that liked to wheel. That guy had a roof rack. Kinda nutty with some of his lines...

I got it from Longnose thinking I was getting a winch, but ended up getting a deal on a rear with tire carrier which depleted the budget for a while. Plus, probably going to go with an Engo with Synthetic. The roller is only supposed to be used with steel cable.

I'll keep it for WOXNROX - he's a serious horse trader kind of a guy.

Hope to see you soon on the trail.

If its this weekend I'm a firm maybe. Mama's trying to change her schedule. By the way I have a 2 year old niece that has done Duran, Poniac, White Mountain, and a couple other trails around Calico, BB, and the house. She loves it. Anytime she comes over she gives me a hug and says bump bumps, so I throw here in the jeep and take her out. Its based off your reactions. If something spooks you, you cant show it. They feed from your emotions. If your laughing and having fun they will do the same. Any how like I said I am a strong maybe.

Will add you to the maybe list, hope you can make it.

Yeah, I figure he'll read me so I'll have to make sure I don't over react to anything. I figure that's also why Cleghorn would be a good first trail for him. Nothing really that hard, but still fun.

Looks like there will be at least a few more. 1 maybe (a guy with a very inconsistent track record) and 1 more, who said he would be bringing "some" friends along. Not sure how many rigs to add from his group. Once again Cleghorn seems to bring people out for the day when other runs scare them away. LOL Could be a pretty good turn out!

Right on, the more the merrier! I've done Cleghorn with 20+, so no problem if he brings a few friends.

Unless it ends up with too many Jeeps to count, Cleghorn is usually a couple hours or so. Someone a ways back, suggested doing 2N17x after Cleghorn. That too, is only a couple hours. That makes it early afternoon, and some may want to continue up Pilot Rock and into Arrowhead trails.

What Phil said.

Starting Cleghorn from the staging area off the Cleghorn exit (traveling East). Depending on how long it takes, may continue on to 2N17X. Cleghorn ends at the 138, so easy to just take that back to the 15 fwy.

There's a chance I will try and join if a JK Rubicon with no CB isn't a problem. Which exit is the Cleghorn exit?

I'm sure it will be no problem. Cleghorn exit is (if you are going north) about ˝ way thru the Cajon Pass, just before the truck scales and the SR-138 (Palmdale) exit. It is also the next exit (like 3 or 4 miles past) the Kenwood exit in Devor.

Might be able to make this one. But I'll probably do the fire roads with my stock JK with no lockers and no lift.

You will be suprised what a sticker can do. Just ask Rick, his first run was in a sticker with street tires.

Yup, that's what's nice about Cleghorn -- you can do most of it in a stocker, but you're always free to take the fire road if you're not comfortable with something.
