I am very pleased with my purchase. Wondering what it feels like to actually "Air Down" to something less than 16 lbs. LOL

Agree with this. Plus, even if we're not done, if you have to leave, you can just take the fire road to the end. You can do as little or as much as you want.

I hear ya Joe. Lately I can't do Saturday's. That weekend I have a wedding to go to Saturday. Plus normally have soccer games, etc.

Catch you on the next one (if it lands on a Saturday lol)

I do enjoy all the ways people stretch 'maybe'.

Cleghorn is pretty easy by most peoples standards. It does have some harder stuff on it, but nothing too hard. There is a fire road that all of the offshoots intersect with. So if you want to skip anything, you can just take the fire road and meet up with the group on the other side.

Cleghorn was my first run in a completely stock JKU Sport with paper plates. My first couple times I skipped a few of the sections.

I ran it in my JKU on 35s and a 3.5" lift. Only kissed the rear bumper on the way down a rock and added some sweet pinstripes down the sides. There was some pucker factor for a rookie, but if someone in an mild XJ can run it while talking on the cell... It couldn't be that hard right?

Yeah you led one that we still had some snow on the ground. I had a blast. Still had the TJ then. It got a bit slippery in places.

Maybe when we to the lake, we can turn around and run it back the other way. Or there is 2N17x just around the corner. Either way, there should be a lot of day left after Cleghorn has been tamed once again!

There are some steep sections and I think it's harder than a lot of people make it sound. I remember being a little freaked out my first time.

Since it's so close to my house, I've done it many times too and know it well. Just never done it with a stick shift.

I did it one time with Gary (hwy1rubi) and it was right after a rain. It was so slipery that I'd say that day the min requirements (on a JK) were 35's, lift and MT tires. We had a TJ with lift and 33's that couldn't hang because of AT tires, sliding all over the place and needing to constantly be tugged. Plus had a stock JKU Rubi that was also having problems. Both of them turned around after that notch section. Gary and I had a fun day. Freaky though when it's that muddy and the Jeep starts to slide on a downhill. Ruh roh!

Ya, will have to see how we do on time. I'd like to hit 2n17x since it would be shorter than doing cleghorn backwards. Just have to see what time we finish Cleghorn.
