you tube sucks!! the audio was muted because I used an mp3 track from my indiana jones disc. It was supposed to be funny since we were playing it at the end when everyone came down the hill...but you tube is now officially off my upload list...how stupid to block audio that is for non-commercial purposes.

We had a great run and kept it going all the way up the hill. After pilot rock we hit the trail from there to the Pinnacles, stopped for lunch and then ran 2n34 to and through Dishpan and finished off by running Holcomb. We had a great run, but again sorry we didn't get to run with the rest of you... Next time!!
It's alright there's always the next run. We were the group of Jeeps you guys bumped into at the highway 138 exit we had to do a quick restroom break (chevron gas) before the action. I had about 9-10 jeeps with me from LB and then we met up with a few more at the underpass for a total of around 15-16 jeeps I believe. No crazy mechanicals with us except for a broken quick disconnect mount sheared off, and the usual shrubbery pinstriping... Haha

Sounds like you guys were scooting pretty good!!
I'm glad it all worked for both groups because there was traffic jams at cleghorn for the first few miles when a group of 8 non-wf jeeps were blocking the road! We still made it happen though fun day for sure

I was glad I broke off and went with Group 2 as it turned out to be a great day up in the mountains. I was going to head home after Pilot Rock but since we were making such good time I decided I would hang for Dishpan and was happy I did. It was the first time we ran trails and did not need to stop for spotting, except for the Dishpan section. Good job Dan and Bill for getting everyone up and through that part as quickly as we did. As always, fun day and nice seeing and meeting the other members.

Alex suggested it and when I ran the clip with the track it fit perfectly! Then I just looped it so it starts again with each jeep coming down the hill....I thought it was perfect...hoping to get it uploaded with the music.

Man, we all had a blast yesterday. It was nice seeing all the other groups out there. Sizing of the groups was perfect. Just enough people to spot you, motivate you and encourage to do trails I never imagined doing by myself. Nice meeting all of you. And definitely hope to this again soon.

So you ended up using the "Indiana Jones" theme song I was playing through my CB's PA after all?

Yes, first, let me apologize. Its been a long time since I uploaded any pictures and I'm grossly out of practice. I should have resized them first since each file coming out of my camera is about 8MB. I deleted the old album and uploaded smaller pics for faster viewing.

Here is a new link: Silverwood Lake 7-28-13 Photos by kwgrimes | Photobucket

And just for a taste:

We could almost perform an undercarriage inspection on that, except we we're sure when it was coming down...LOL
