Thanks Buck. You guys truly do great work. I'm so pleased with the quality and attention to detail. I could not even keep you in sight the last time we wheeled together. Maybe now I will have a chance. You and Jamie have a Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you out on the trails soon...

Is this still happening tomorrow? I got in touch with Turdhurdler and he is ready to go on this one but I want to make sure it is still the Pilot Rock and Cleghorn in reverse run.

I wish I can go with you guys tomorrow.
We are going hunting. It is hunting season now.
These are usually tough times for me as I have to split my time between hunting and off-roading.

I'm going to miss seeing your new mod and the flexing of your rig Dan.
I'll catch you guys next time. have fun and be safe.

Joe.

Hey gang, sorry I had to leave after Pilot Rock. Have dinner plans going on that I am getting around for. Just wanted to say thanks to Dan for setting up this run. I had a blast and met a couple of new people and saw some old friends. Always a great time. Hope the rest of the run is as exciting as the first part.

Jeff

Man, that is a bummer right before Christmas. Hate to see that. Hopefully, nobody got hurt...and Santa brings him a nice shiny new one in a couple days!

Sorry for the drama, the car was stolen and driven to that spot and crashed the night before, we just stopped and asked the ranger about it. I guess the guy that stole it and crashed it got away. ( bummer for the owners ) the rock had recently rolled onto the trail...good thing nobody was there, it was huge.

As for the Cherokee, it lost all it's coolant and we worked on it for awhile and thought we had it fixed ( not so much ) still a good day on the trails!

Wish I could tell you...we got just 2 miles in when the Cherokee water pump went out and after running PR and working on the Jeep, we turned back and called it a day. That end part was pretty cool though...I think I like going up that part better than going down it

Aw man, that sucks! Well at least you guys finished PR. I've been wanting to run that again. I've only run it once about a year ago. Should be more fun now.

In that case we are just going to have to give it another go in a couple weeks?

Dan, how'd the new wheeling upgrades work for you?

I would be in for a re-run, I have never run Pilot rock or Cleghorn backwards. I will keep my eyes open for a new thread.

As I drove by it I noticed a couple of legs sticking out from under it. Let's try the backwards run again only this time we should maybe just try that trail for starters. I seemed like it took a long time to do Pilot Rock and then attempt Cleghorn. Sure was a beautiful day out there and a fun day even though we had some complications. Always a good time with all you guys and gals.

Yeah Dave your right, I guess we tried to tackle too much in a day. The group was a good size and it moved along pretty well, but its a bit of ground to cover. Maybe with 3 or 4 jeeps it's possible. We will set up a Cleghorn backwards only in the near future!

Just wanted to say thanks to Dan for putting this run together, Kelly and I had a great time.
Since I am fairly new to wheeling, I would also like to thank Dan, Bill, Dave and Jeff for spotting me thru the couple of spots that I had difficulty with.
Every time that I go out, I learn more on what my jeep/me are capable of and can't wait till the next time we go out.

Merry Christmas an Happy New Year to everyone.

Scott & Kelly
