Right now I'm use Windows Moive Maker. It's OK but could be better.

You might check out Adobe Premiere Elements. I've used an older version of it to do videos I record from video games. The current version has quite a lot more features than the 4 year old version I have.

I don't know what all iMovie can do (as best I can tell it's in between WMM and something like Premiere Elements), but the Adobe product for sure will be a LOT better than WMM. I started out using WMM and then they did some update to it and it actually removed a feature I used to use which forced me to look elsewhere.
