Went from Bee Canyon just east of Hemet to Pine Cove just outside of Idyllwild this morn. Very fun run stayed in 2wd most of the time. The road starting was pretty bumpy for stock/wore out suspension.
Just past the area where shooting is permitted I came across this mess. Frustrated me. Anyone know a way to remove this from a area that is basically one car width?
As I climbed the scenery changed from sage brush and powdery sand to a mountain landscape complete with a nice water crossing.
The trail smoothed out considerably after the water crossing and got a bit cooler in temp.
Yep, went by myself, it is rated as an easy trail but I still took it slow n go. Golfspaz, let me know when you might be interested in going. I had a blast today and want to go back.
12 days and counting. I am like a little kid waiting now. I have gone and checked my camping gear and such a couple of times to make sure I will have everything.
The trail is a blast for just a get away. Take it from Hemet and have a nice lunch in the mountians of Idyllwild. Hope to maybe take the wife and steph kids on Sunday.
hay turd..what size tires do you have on your jeep? and what size wheels?
I have a 92 yj, looks about the same as yours, I have no lift. I would like mine to look like yours. Any advise?
The Jeep is running 31X15X10.5s and the rims are American Racing 15X8s with no lift in those pics. The springs were very worn and sagging. I currently have a Rough Country 4" lift with the same size tires.
Jeff, did you happen to notice if I left my keys in the Explorer? I can't find them. You'd know them right away by the Hannah Montana key chain. Have you seen them?
I think they were still in the Exploder when I drove by it. Actually the Exploder was kind done up from what I recall. Had bi-pass shocks (or what was left of them) in the front with widened TTB axle installed.
Yeah, I had a lot of coin wrapped up in that thing. It even had a custom paint job! Although, I think the guy that did the flames was a little too good at his craft!
If everyone knew how nice it is out here, everyone would move here and leave the rest of the country vacant. Plus, the highways are shitted up enough with people. Could you imagine 100 million more people on the 15 at 6pm?
Why do you think the State of California is paying the media to tell the rest of the world that California is either always shaking or on fire?!
Hey doesn't that explorer have an 8.8 rear end in it ? Some people on here could use that.
