If you did ok at dishpan, your fine for Calico. It's just more obstacles at calico.
Unless you want to do gatekeeper, then watch some videos first.

I'll be down for a Calico run, last time I opted out of the gatekeeper because it was later in the day and if you break in there its a long painful recovery, this time around if we get there early enough I'll run it.

For you calico is just west of Baker, there is an exit for it...

Calico, CA - Google Maps

To the right of the green area there is a road, Doran Scenic Loop. IF that is the loop you guys wish to do I can lead it, been there a few times trail is not hard for lifted Jeep. Stock Rubicons can do it with ease, and others if they are spotted correctly. Rear locker helps a great deal with the waterfallls.

IF, you wish to do other trails then I say you entice IH8RDs to go and camp. She loves going down there and spending the weekend and knows how to get to some sites to see as well.

I would say to do the gatekeeper at the end of the day. That way the run is done, people can leave if they get bored, and if you break on the gatekeeper, you at least got the day's run in. Only vehicle I have ever seen just roll through the gate keeper was a buddy's rock buggy, all others have taken some time and some have broken and recovery out that gatekeeper is not fun by any means.

I may be interested in this again. I would like to take some more time out in the back country and do some exploring and shooting.
