Dishpan Springs to Holcomb Creek, 8-27 or 8-28

Hey,

A group of us are going run Dishpan Springs (Uphill) to Holcomb Creek on either Saturday (8-27) or Sunday (8-28), depending on what works best with scheduling...

If there is anyone here interested in wheeling on these days, please let me know in this thread so I can start something offical.

Please give me a call with any questions.

949-351-9170

Delano.

Requirements:
35" tires and 2.5" of lift and 1 Locker.

PS: Trail runs with me are always family and kid friendly!

where are you going to meet? What time? How long of a roll? I would
suggest EARLY for holcomb, try to beat the 20+ jeep clubs that take 8
hours to do it. Better to be in front then the rear.......lol
Just sayin'

We can meet at the trailhead at the bottom of Dishpan Springs.

The roll would be atleast 4 hours, two hours per trail.

With requirements like that, you may be lonely on that trail!

Besides, those trails don't need that anyways.

The jeep is lifted and I have tested some easy stuff where I live in apple valley. Can we join you guys. Im not afraid to test this baby out. Will not hold you up. Let me know if we can ride with you. If not let me know too.

Sunday, September 4th
The Plan:
Run Dishplan Springs (Uphill)
Meet (9AM):
Please Meet Here:
(NOT OPEN)
Cedar Glen Gas Stop
231 N Highway 173
Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352

Trail Description:
It's about 2 hours long with a group of six people. It's fun, extreme and dry for the most part. It's AKA Deep Creek Trail, it is part of the 3N34 (Willow Creek) trail, it is rated difficult and if ran uphill, this trail is pretty extreme. Dishpan Springs Trail goes from the east side of Lake Arrowhead towards Green Valley and Big Bear. The trail become difficult as soon as you cross Deep Creek, eventually the road reaches Dishpan Springs (the most challenging section of the trail) and Crab Flats campground. Body damage to a stock 4x4 is likely.
Going:
1. Pluke
2. Old Man
3. Highwayman

Hey Matt,

That sounds good. You are more then welcome to join us.

At the moment, I think my g/f and I are camping up in Big Bear. My old man and a few others are leaving from Orange County and if you want to give me a call I can let you know about the Caravan.

Delano.
