DIY Cooking platform for camping.

I built a foldable cooking platform that fits in the bottom of my storage bins when folded for storage.

I was thinking of getting one of those foldable accordian metal tables but this fits in my bin without taking any additional space, is low cost, and will last for a long while.

It'll fold out and sit on top of my two other bins (stacked) when I cook. It has enough room for my stove, cooking supplies, pots/pans, and other items I need when cooking.

Easy, cheap, space saving, and practical. Already had the plywood from my rear storage platform build. Only spent 5 bucks on the piano hinge.

Joe, I too have a home built food/pans/ and "stuff" box!
Using the piano hinge lets you fold, or open with good stability too. I'll show ya how my propane stove, and all the dry food and stuff fits in my bin, and my wooden box on the trip.
Yeah..I am getting really stoked about exploring a new place, and somewhere i have never been. I still need to did out those maps of the desert though! ( Read Lazy bones here!)
