downtown los angeles meet

So I was in downtown last night on 3rd and traction and saw about 6 awesome looking jeeps all parked together. I would like to know more info about this meet.

Rowher flats is an easy trail with the exception of the section right before you get to the little lake.

You'll definitely want rocker guards and some more aggressive tread tires at a bare minimum. And even so you'll probably drag in a few spots. Ideal would be a couple inches of lift and a locker for a hangup free trail ride.

That being said, I don't have a locker, but I don't mind catching up on things now and then.

Calico likes to deal bumps and bruises :P

These guys are my home town Jeep Shop so I have to give them a shout-out.

Every Third Friday of the month, It may not be downtown L.A. (perhaps a good thing....) and always lots of Jeeps.

Genright Off-Road Jeep Night.

I would personally like to meet some more fellas and do some trail time but unfortunately my days off work are Sunday & Monday. Does anyone set anything up for Saturday night or Sunday runs?

This looks interesting too. What time does everyone meet for this and how long do they stick around?

I've been to a couple. Stayed a few hours the first but had to bail early the second. They usually start at 6:00pm, but you'll find them setting up at 5:15pm. About fifteen Jeeps at the last one in just the short time I was there.
