Unfortunately I am going to have to back out of this trip. I am moving into a new house on the 1st of September and will need the time I was taking for this trip to pack, move and get situated. I was so pumped for this run. Hopefully there will be another opportunity in the near future. You guys have a great time and please take lots of photos.

Hi Sinbob,
since you have done this trail before I wanted to ask you about the court right camping situation. I was searching it online and I find many campsites around court right. Are they all in one spot or do we pick one that we will all meet at. And is there reception up there if we need to contact each other?
Thanks,
-Raffi

I'm still in....Red TJ, 2 guys, and a lot of anticipation for the run. We'll be camping at Courtright Campground, Thursday night. If we don't meet up Thursday evening, meet up at the base of Voyager Rock? If I miss my troupe, I'll tailgate
one of the other groups. I need this trail, and I'm hoping Bob is the guide, and Raffi, can spot and/or recover me.....please guys, lets try.

Cool, is there an actual campground called court right campground? I have Thursday off as well so I will be leaving early Thursday morning because I hear court right has some good fishing. So I guess we're all meeting up late night thurs early Friday?

Sounds good, but I was thinking of camping at voyager rock since that's where we will be leaving from the next day.

hey guys posted this earlier.

Voyager aka Chicken rock campground....allows campfires.
to get to the camp ground follow the road around to the right at Courtright lake boat ramp. Go across the dam circa 2 miles to the end of the road parking lot. The entrance to the Dusy Ershim and Voyager rock campground will be on your left appox 50 to 100 yards before the parking lot. It is circa 3 miles to the campground of some easy 4x4 ing.
I usually go the parking lot to air down, disconnect and have a beer.

You can google Voyager rock camp ground and get all kinds of info

I would recommend meeting here at Voyager camp ground since we will be leaving from here.

That is on the west side of the lake and you need to be on the northeast side of the lake. Better fishing at Voyager rock campground

No cell service at all anywhere up there
that is why I love it sooooo much and the wifey hates it
You might get cell service when you come out at Kaiser!!!!

The only thing you have is sit down toilets over a hole in the ground at Voyager camp ground.

I need a solution ASAP. Yesterday on a training run, my '01 TJ hopped out of 4LO. I don't need this to happen on Voyager Rock. Any suggestions?

Bad news on my end. Issue 1, have had a few calls on the jeep and it might not be around for this trip. Issue 1b is with it on the market the chance of breakage scares me, but not enough to not go.

Issue 2, damn furlough got cut short. what this does is force me to take more time off for the trip AND I have to take more time off the next month due plans made when the furlough was suppose to go full length during the wifes trip back home with the new born.

I'm pretty much a no-go and I couldnt be more disappointed. I'm going to see if theyll let me move days around but its not looking too good.
