It was a fun day for sure, started at the top of Holcomb, then ran it down to Dishpan and ran Dishpan backwards... Damn, that is a crazy run! Had tons of fun though, and oh so happy with the Jeep.

My tie rod and drag link took a pretty solid hit at the end of Holcomb though, so, I've spent my entire Saturday learning about alignment and how to adjust everything... Definitely easier to get under there now! The good news is that I've finally gotten it all straight again, and the stability control is no longer trying to engage (that was STRANGE). Still need an after-wheel checkup with Stan though, but at least I can get there now... Lol

As for my next mod, it will hopefully be replenishing my bank account. I may have to buy a couple of things along the way, but I'm happy with where we are for now.

PS, thanks for the new Avatar Bill!! You shot the last one too I think

That is a seriously hard line. We tried hard to get Bill over that. Without success

It's about 25 minutes north of Santa Barbara at ocean Mesa campground. Beautiful place!

Thanks for the pics! I was sitting at the base of dishpan last Monday with my bone stock jeep dreaming of taking that trail. Called Stan on wendsday for the downlow on how to get over it. He gave me detailed instructions on what I need to do. Now I just need to save a few more pennies!

It really is amazing what a properly equipped jeep can tackle and still drive comfortably daily
