Lori has not lead any runs up north that I am aware of. I know she is trying to set something up for the Rubicon next year.

Personally, there is no reason for me to drive up there as I have WAY too much quality wheeling here in So Cal.

Smarog- im also from SF Bay Area. Honestly i've been looking to trail events for a while and most of them 3-5 hours away. I just gave up and decided to try this run. There is place to camp or stay in hotel.

If you want to try some local trails, the only place i know and have been is Hollister Hills. If you want to try that, hit me up- we can go together any sunday(my only day off)

Trust me, you will be at ease once you're around us 2 minutes. Ask anyone!

You're rig doesn't need a whole lot for this run..maybe some sliders.

Sure- Plenty of room! You have a little bit of a drive. Planning on a day run or camping with us crazies?

I love my regulars who wheel with me like family, and I'm looking forward to meeting you new guys this go around too! We're going to have a great time!

Even though this run is on the easier side, trail #113 is super pretty..if you can appreciate what nature has to offer, you'll enjoy this this trail a lot. My avatar is one of the stumps near a HUGE tree along the way. Really pretty there..

I get super jealous looking at the pictures every time you guys go wheeling, this time I think I'm going to suck it up, grow a pair and come. I took my jeep out to hungry valley for the 4 wheel parts appreciation day and also last weekend, I did 2 moderate trails there and it was fine. I know my rig can handle a lot, it's just my off-roading skills I question. But after going through a few of the practice area stuff I feel a little bit more comfortable burning my clutch haha! I'm 99% sure I'm going to be joining you guys. 50/50 on camping.

Also a great excuse to finally buy a cb also if I can find a good deal on a new bumper and winch

AWESOME!!! I love it when new wheelers join my runs!!

No worries! I will make sure you're taken care of. Spotting if you need it, coaching, whatever you need. Miller is a Great 1st trail for new wheelers. I guarantee you, you will finish it wanting to do it again..and from there my friend, you'll want more. Trust me. I started just like you!

I am so looking forward to this run with everybody!! And I hope you can stay for the camping...That's half the fun as well. Camp is NEVER boring !

I'll add ya to my list...and just let me know when to look for you!

Lorie

Both my friend! I'll be living vicariously through you alls stories a pics or better yet videos.

Please help a fellow friend in need -- take plenty of pictures, especially at Calico. That one is the one that will hurt the most, not so much HV.

A bone stock Wrangler can handle all of those trails. You might scrape a little at the top of Miller, but that's what skid plates are for. Besides, no one gets left behind.
