Front License Mount

With the new bumper on the 10A and winch - where does the front license plate get mounted without interference to the lights?

A lot of guys grab some magazine light mounts(2 sets) and mount them to a license plate frame then clip the plate to the rollers on your fairlead....hope this makes sense?

If you have a roller fairlead for the winch purchase Mag Lite D cell mounting bracket. The clips fit perfectly around the roller.

Ya...but I'd advise you taking it off when you wheel,.well, depending on what kind of wheeling you do. I busted mine in Calico taking a Creative line one day You can find them at Lowes instead of ordering them online and waiting.

I use the Mag Lite holders, so far so good, but definitely take it off once you are off roading.

I take off my front plate on all my cars in Cali.
Got out of a few tickets with them ending up writing me for just no front plate. It gives them an out if they don't want to hit you with bigger ticket. Beats a speeding ticket.

Guess we should have asked... to you have cable or synthetic rope on your winch?

I can hook you up with some sign material. Makes a great backing for the plate. I might even be nice and cut it to size for you. That is if I ever see you again!

My friend hasn't run a front plate on either his jeep or truck for at least a year and hasn't had a problem. He even got pulled over once for something unrelated and the officer didn't mention the plate. I screwed mine into the bottom part of my bumper. Still there by law but doesn't stick way out like some do.
