FUNNY things people say about the JEEP,

Few days ago I went out w/ r8drzr. After that I went to the gf house in irvine. While getting gas the girl next to me says "wow people on your block don't like you! Look at all those scratches." My reply was "yeah damn those trees brushes and rocks!" She had a shock and mad look and got back in her BMW x5.

I have a co-worker that often makes comments like that. Myself and 2 others share the same office. The other guy totally gets and and I'm always talking about wheeling with him. Yet the guy that doesn't get it STILL makes comments: Like when he saw some new scratches he said something like 'you only have 20K miles on it and you're ruining it!'. I assured him that it will run just fine with scratches.

He's the type that, if I did roll/flop, he'd be the first to shake a finger and say he told me so... Of course, he drives a Mercury Marquis which I describe as a wanna be Lincoln.

Some people just don't get it.

Mikes friend from Montana was here visiting right after we came back from Calico. The sliders are all scraped up and I have a good scrape on the front bumper (that rock just jumped out in front of us) He saw that and told me I was "stupid" for taking my JKUR off road.

I don't hold my tongue well, I told him he was stupid for thinking a Jeep was not to be used off road. Mike gave me a dirty look and I left it at that, lol. The guy had
been drinking all thru dinner and it was probably best I didn't say more.

It was funny since he's from Montana and you would think he would be all for going off road in it. Luckily we don't see him much

I've had a couple of people ask me about the diesel in my 4.0 straight six powered TJ. I just laugh and tell them that is how jeeps sound. They always look puzzled

You should put a diesel sticker on the side of the fender and really mess some minds

Actually it is usually when I am stopped and the engine is running.

People rarely talk to me while I am driving on the freeway.

I always get "Do you actually take that off-road"?"
My usual response- "No, the mall has really tall curbs".
Guy was asking about my Jeep- looking right at my "Jeep Girl" sticker. He actually asked "Is this your husband's Jeep?". I thought the Jeep Girl sticker would clear that up. Next "Not My Husband's Jeep and I will Punch you in the face and then run your over with MY Jeep if you ask." Don't know if that'll fit on a bumper sticker.

My friend who drives a Honda Civic always makes fun of my YJ because she tops out at 90kms on the highway. "We'll have to leave early, because we know it'll take twice as long in the Jeep to get there" and that kind of thing.
So when it snowed and he was stuck in his driveway, I showed up to laugh
"Wow, sure is going fast now!" I yelled to him. He asked me for a ride and I made a joke about 'You sure you won't mind being ten minutes late for class since I'm SO SLOW??"
Hahaha now he watches his tongue

Might fit as a tire cover.

I was at JPI for some work then followed Stan over to his house for a brew after shop closed. On the way we pulled up to a stop sign, there was a pack of young teen boys on skateboards.
As we pulled up they were all staring, when we stopped one of the boys pointed at us and said
" Wow those are Rubicon's " I gave them a nod
And and smiled as I drove down the road.
