Going to the rubicon this weekend

Had some friends call the other day wanting to do the rubicon this weekend.

I have run the trail a couple times, but I am thinking of entering from wentworth springs this time. I really would like to know if its worth it to enter from that point and going the extra distance or if loon lake is the better place to start? Part of me wants to start there just undecided since it looks like it cuts a good chunk of the loon lake area off.

Really would like some opinions on this.

Thanks

Dan

Going in at Wentworth will cut out a lot. If you know where the bathroom is at Ellis Creek, you will enter the trail just below where the bathroom is.

I too would be interested to find out if coming in via Wentworth Springs is worth it, because you would be missing out on the gatekeeper, the granite bowl, and some other rock gardens. What does Wentworth Springs have to offer in exchange?

Yup know exactly where that is thanks for the info. How about the trail it's self before that point any good crawling?

We Just came in to Wentworth that way last weekend. It was fun. If you have never gone that way you should at least once.
