Going to have to CANCEL this run, PCM went out so I'm missing High Desert Round-up along with this run. Looks like 2 weeks to get the PCM back and hopefully that cures the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience, will re-schedule at a later date.

Running Gold Mountain, Little John Bull and John Bull Saturday June 3. Meet at staging area for Gold Mountain off of Hwy 18 at 9:15 AM. 1 traction aiding device, minimum 33" tires, lift and armor, tow hooks, body damage possible. CB channel 23, bring lunch, water and snacks. Run will be capped at 6 vehicles.

Would love to go but busy on Sat, if you decide to bump to Sun you could count me in. I have done all those trials and could help.

I'm all cleaned up from Hi Desert Roundup and thinking about next weekend. I just saw you had to cancel this run and also missed out on HDR because of your PCM. Not sure why I didn't notice that before. Bummer for you. Hope you get things going again for the next weekend.

I've had cutting out problems on climbs for almost 9 years, finally found the cause of that. The speed sensor wires were frayed inside the split wrap, the split wrap would get taunt when climbing and split apart letting the wire rub on the transfer case and shorting out intermittently . As soon as the engine died the torque load stopped and the split wrap loosened back up and sealed itself, hiding the frayed wires - there were no marks on the split loom either.

The PCM was causing the fuel pump to stutter on and off along with the transfer case 4 low signal not activating which causes the locker relays not to engage. Should have it back next week hopefully.

Hey WoW.. Glad you got that one figured out. I know that was a frustrating gremlin.
I'm sure you'll be happy to get back on the trail.

Today is my 15th anniversary my jeep and I have been together. I took it out and feed it some rocks this morning.
It's been a good ol boy!
