Ha ha! The trick finding the right mix so she doesn't ask questions when you get home. I haven't figured that one out yet...

That's no good ... We had a tanker overturn out here during a rotation a few years ago ... It took months to dig up all the contaminated soil ...

So this will for sure be a problem from what I can see. So what is the alternate plan that will not take another hour to get there?

Its closed from Forest Falls to the homes in Woodlands just out of Big Bear which is well beyond the boundaries of the spill. There are trails that reach it from BB, but not sure its worth all that...It would probably be better to do a Big Bear run if we change it...

Nothing to add other than THIS SUCKS!

Sounds like we could still do the run, just take longer to get there and back.

Geez that much of the road is closed? You'd have to go Burns Canyon or Cactus Flats and get there from the backside... thanks for the update Bill ... this may affect the Veterans Run too

Ok everyone we got thrown a huge wrench in our plans!! ( for those still wanting to hit the hill tomorrow we can go up the 330 and for some of you from out west of the Redlands area it will be the same amount of time to get to the trail head. I will be seeing Stan in a few hrs and will get a true plan

Look like an estimated 3000 gallons of fuel have leaked out of the tanker and into a near by creek...ouch...not good..

They just narrowed the closure from Angelus oaks to Camp Cedar Falls (the entrance to 7 Oaks is closed so I wont be camping) which means its now accessible from the top down, but a heck of a drive...

Its Tim's call to make, but the change in drive time will be a deal breaker for some...We could still head up 330 to BB and hit a trail there. There are some trails we could take to bypass the stretch of highway, but again its a long way around...
