Help local new jeeper to tune CB radio.

Hi, basically i will be heading for a trail run next week end. I have to have CB radio at the trail. Few days ago i installed complete kit with Cobra 75 CB. I did some swr tuning by myself, and i have mixed numbers. All i need is someone local with cb installed so i can check my cb workability and if i need to tune some more. Im in San Jose. Im willing to meet with someone and drive if you are in surrounding location. Please help new member to become trail rider for now, later "Moonrider" thanks

I'd help but am in So Cal....Wonder by a local truck stop and ask for some help.....they usually have a radio shop nearby and many of the truckers will likely help.

Whoever suggested going to the truck stop probably gave you the best advice. Second guess might be to check your local yellow pages for a CB repair and installation shop. A properly tuned antenna, will give you a way better broadcast and receive range than simply adjusting the SWR on the radio itself.
