Hmmm, apparently I need to learn to aim better. Decided to go over a large rock on the left because I figured if I landed it would hit the slider. Well, right after the front tire went over there was a good solid thump that I was pretty sure was not just the slider. Turns out I was right it wasn't lol. Just found this after taking a look under there this evening. I did scrape the bottom edge of the CA mount up at Slickrock, but 95% sure I didn't do this to it there as well.

Ouch! That's a nasty little ding there! Doesn't look like it's in a critical spot though. That should straighten out fairly easy. Hopefully others in the group will post some pics to show the trail. It was a bit knarly!

Straighten out with what? I tried a pair of vice grips and it laughed at them.

Probably would have to put some heat to it. I large crescent wrench might do it also. Just need some leverage.

Ah, guess I'll just spray it and we can fix it on a wrenching day then :-)

haven't had time to start on the videos yet. I had to spend 250.00 to get all the parts to get my jeep back up and running. But it's all good.

New starter? Did they warranty your wheel?

No starter yet and no warranty. It's all good. The starter will have to be the last thing to do. It starts now and everything. so it can wait to be done before the lost coast run.

LOL! It was just one of those days! Gene's wheel and starter issue, Ryan broke his winch rope, Jessie wiped out a shock, Charles got banged up, I almost put my jeep on it's side, yep, good times!

Gene's starter issue has been haunting him for a while. It just happened to rear it's ugly head at the worst possible moment. He wouldn't of broke his wheel if that damn starter didn't act up!

True but it was all good. I just need to replace the starter and hope that's all it is. Lol
