Hike to swimming hole Friday of 7th anuual M&G

So i saw this over on my jeep rocks, there is a hike to a swimming hole that is 1 1/2 mile long on a trail starting from fisherman's group camp. i'm going up to the M&G on friday early and want to go check this out, probably start hiking around noon or earlier. anyone want to go? looks like fun!

if you want to go, you should be in good shape to hike, bring appropriate foot wear (no sandals) a small pack with water and snacks.

Organized Event The Ole Swimmin Hole 7-7-12

That is also known as lee's point. We used to jump from the highest ledges in high school. I haven't been there in years so I don't know if it's still deep enough to jump. One of the ledges is 33 ft.

Yep, I am still interested. I swim like a rock, but a quick dip after a walk sounds great.

We'd love to go if we can make it in time. Great way to tire out the mutt. I'd like to remind everyone that I believe there is a "No Bananaa Hammocks" rule for this event??....That includes Speedos.

Come on out to this one. No time like the present to start.

Gotcha. Well, I organize 2 of these events every year. One in March and the other the end of July. There is also talk of monthly meet ups that involve camping and wheeling.
