OK, I have been quiet long enough. We will be meeting somewhere (still deciding) in Big Bear at 9am. The route will include Gold Mtn - Little John Bull - Holcomb Creek
Weather looks to be in the low 70's!

PLEASE note I said "Little John Bull", not John Bull. It's easier that Holcomb Creek and will just add to the beauty of a Big Bear run...

Hey awesome peeps... Gonna try to swing this trip, although Sunday trips are almost always an impossibility for me, I hate to miss church (I know, I know, hard to believe.) This week though, I am thinking I need a wheeling trip more than Church... I am missing the trails... and really missing my friends

Hey Dan,
Count me and Fred1 (one Jeep) in. Sounds like a fun day. We will only have my LJ.

Is anyone going to have tools with them? Since this is a last minute run for us we didn't have time to plan, to grab our tools from the desert house, and get ready this past weekend.

Is little John Bull the "Extra Credit" trail in between Real John Bull and Gold Mountain. I think Jerry took us on that trail on one of the M&G's a few years ago when he got lost.

If friday afternoon isn't to late to make a decision, we might be in on this. Got our new tie rod in, put some bigger wrenches in our tool bag, and now all we gotta do is put a new battery in it(seems like we just bought the jeep yesterday). Mark and Candy.

You should have 33" tires (or larger) and some protection. At least one locker is recommended. Post up if you are interested in join in on this run.
I bet I race against your son. NICA SoCal HS league?

Wish me and my friends could make it to this one. Have other plans :/
Last time I ran it I crushed a rocker so I suggest protection to all who aren't sure.

So stoked to see so many of my jeeper friends making this run...

Is anyone running with their top off? I want to but I will have back seat passengers and I don't want them to freeze.

I'm definitely considering it... it will surely be cold in the morning driving up there, but the afternoon will be STELLAR. I suspect it will be an easy decision to go topless... but a much harder decision is doors or no doors... that adds a whole new level of cold!
