But wheeling is so much better door less I may have to just suffer through the cold . . .

I will be running topless but with doors. I do have a spider web shade covering the top so it helps a little with morning and evening temperatures. I am really looking forward to this run. Thanks Dan and Bill for being great planners!

I also got my GoPro problems fixed so I will be doing much more filming on this run than I did in Calico.

Also, we will probably be at the Bakers at the 210 and the 10 (i dont know what exit that is, but it is right at the little mini golf, waterslide place right before you get to the 10) at 7-7:30 for anyone wanting to convoy up the mountain. Ill be on the same CB channel as the run. Ill post up if something changes.

Just remember for those considering doorless- temperature is one thing- but check for high winds. The drive to Calico was pretty miserable with half doors. Being cold is one thing- being blasted by cold winds at the same time isn't so fun. The left side of my face is still recovering.

My top is off and there's no way I'm putting the effort into putting it back on! Of course I was the stupid one driving up to Marble Canyon with tube doors with crazy cross winds.

The temp range on Sunday is supposed to be mid 30's to high 60's! That's kind of hard to plan for. I look at it this way - easier to take off a sweater than to take off a hard top.

Tire is now mounted outside the LJ which made room for the backseat. License plate has been relocated and wired up. Going to ask the girls from Indiana if they want the top on or off. I hope they are Top Off kinda girls Apart from that I just need to give the jeep a bath and I'm ready to go!

Hey Dan sorry I can't get out on this run. We're heading out to the river for my annual pre season boat maintenance. I'm pretty free after this weekend and hope to get out with you guys soon. Jeep looks great!

Hey Dan you cannot see the jeep anymore. What tire size is that. It looks that you'll be heavy in the rear. I guess you will be doing wheelies with your jeep.

look forward to wheeling with you soon Buck!
The tire is only a 315/70/17 (34.5"), but in the pic it does look big. Maybe it's the rack. The tire actually mounts out about a foot. Between the jeep and the tire, I can mount two 5 gallon gas tanks if I so choose.

We were planning around 7:30. I've already PM'ed Jim (Orange JK Jim I assume?) on this run so I'll PM him on meeting up. Will shoot for 7am but somehow we always wind up leaving late. (Yes; a JK can do 90 MPH). Don't hold up the Corona caravan.
