Hollister or frank raines 11/9

It likely will be Frank Raines on Saturday 11/9. Kind of waiting on my buddy from Santa Rosa to decide where he wants to go as I think he will be camping. Everyone's welcome. So far I think just a couple jeeps coming. Per him, I think we will be in the creek most of the day as him and others say the rest of the park pretty much sucks.

Bump. So far some guys from my club are coming. We are gonna be in the creeks the whole time. Sounds fun. Everyone's still welcome.
Oh yea, this is 85% gonna be at Frank Raines.

I've never been either, it's about 30-40 min south east of carnagie. I heard the trails are pretty lame but there is a creek with lots of rocks, especially if it rains I hear it's even funner with water. I'll be out there with a few built rigs. The one guy who wants to go has been there before and he's running a xj with Dana 60s and 38s so it must be kinda of a challenge. I dunno.

If it rains, from what I've seen not even a foot so no worries.

Alright. Looks like a change of plans. Looks like this will most likely be hollister hills. My buddy from Santa Rosa doesn't have a trailer and hollister is closer. He's driving his xj on 40s so that should be an adventure haha. He mentioned camping the weekend, I can't cuz work.

Bummer was starting to look forward to the new scenery. You can count me as a maybe, I should have my baby back from the shop (getting the dana 30 gusseted) by then but I can't say for sure.

Bump. This is only 4 days away. 99.99% gonna be a hollister run. We got a few rigs lined up. We will probably set up a meet in San Jose 101/85 area to swoop other people. Speak up or have fun not wheeling on Saturday.
This is the gas station me met at last time. Seemed legit. 101 Bernal Rd San Jose, CA
I'd say meet here and leave no later than 915am.

I would but my jeep is not working right now since I broke my lower CA bracket on Sunday at hollister. Anyone have a welder I could possibly borrow because I only have a access to a small welder that's not strong enough to weld a bracket on

Find a shop that will weld it on. I'm sure you could get it done in the next couple of days and for like $50 and still make it out Saturday

San Jose north by where 880 and 101 intersect.

I have friends able to weld but I need to take it too there shop and I don't want to remove the whole axle for a quick bracket weld.

Do you have or know someone who has AAA? Then you can just tow the jeep.

So one last bump for this before tomorrow, as of right now it sounds like there's 3, possibly 4 of us going from a couple different groups down to hollister. Any more takers?
