Straight outa college I worked as a Chemist for a small environmental lab (4 or 5 chemists). In order to compete with larger labs they worked us constantly until you couldn't take it and quit. I came up with the "title" lab mule b/c they worked us until you died than they replaced you. Used to put in on my atten. lines for incoming mail and everything else there.

Eventually I quit and bought a jeep. Things are much better now.

Mine is pretty obvious but also sticking with the old classic. JEEPHRZ- my old TJ.
Incidentally- this is what Bill's TJ would look like if it were a Mall Crawler.

No big story here. Just love baseball more than the wiff and in my opinion a greater accomplishment than a perfect game.

If you were a long-time LA Kings fan like me, "triple crown" would have a whole different meaning.

When I was in high school I got caught smoking during baseball season. When I was up to bat one of the parents in the stands said "let's go smokey" after that I have always used that name for a lot of screen names.

01 is the year I graduated

Nobndry because its on my license plate, and I choose that because jeeps can go anywhere and have no boundaries. It was a hard decision between nobndry, thsidup, drvovrit, myjeep, and blkjeep all of which were surprisingly available. I do get a lot of no been dry? Because its a jeep thing and they don't understand.

Nice Ken! The best part of this is that you're not sure where the 10 came from. That's too funny!

This is also funny because you didn't mean to type the T.

I can relate because I'm the critter person in my family. I have two older sisters. So being the only boy, if a pet caught an animal, it was my job to clean it up. We had a rather active male cat that caught birds, rats, mice, lizards, rabbits. Even brought back a hen once. (The hen was unharmed, too big for the cat).

Still my job today because we have a pool and gophers love to take their last swim... I had a big male boxer that killed a lot of critters too. Opossoms were the worst because he would bring them in and they would play dead. So I had to clean them up and hope they stay asleep.

I also had snakes and lizards as pets, so they were critters and I had to feed the snakes other critters...

These are all great stories, I have wheeled with most of you at one time or another and I have often wondered what the meaning of your user name meant, this really makes it personal to understand a little about the people we all hang with when we wheel. I have never been part of a forum until I joined this one a year and a half ago. Never had a Jeep before then either. I wanted one since I was 17 one of my best friends growing up had one. Jeepers are some of the coolest people I have hung out with. My very first trail with the forum was Cleghorn Ridge with some of you that have posted on this thread. Thank you all for making me and my wife fill at home.

Cool thread Vic! I've wondered about many of the usernames I see too.
Thank you Rick, I was wondering. Because if you were the king of suicide. I don't think you would be here. And for me a delivery driver all the time on the freeway was slow 2 a crawl. (not much faster in the jeep).

I deal with a lot of waste water, but not that level. Commercial and residential plumbing and drains.

There are a couple reasons on how I came up with my user name. My first hobby/power sport is riding a quad and I have been doing so since I was a kid. The ATV I have now which is my 4th ATV I decided I was going to splurge and modify the motor but wanted to keep it reliable at the same time. So I took my brand new quad to Duncan Racing and had them pull the motor apart and they did port, polish, valves, cams, pipe, air intake, header, after market ECU and high compression piston. The bike runs awesome and is one of the fastes dune able atv's I have ridden. But now I have to run 108 octane VP C12 racing fuel which is about $13.50 a gallon. So every time I am gettig ready to go out to the desert to ride my quad I have to plan ahead and buy buy 10 gallons of racing fuel and hope it is in stock. Which is kind of a pain and I always second guess the choice of getting a high compression piston since I am only a recreational rider. So my new or 2nd hobby which is my Jeep only requires 87 octane and I can get that on my way out the desert or mountains.

The 2nd reason is one must be prepaired when you go wheeling. Tools, spare tire, air compressor, recovery gear etc.. but the first and foremost I need 87 octane.

Thanks for posting Mark, that's always a fun hobby. One of my Buddy's used to have quads, we would take our sons out to the desert and race around all day till it felt like your arms were going to fall off. Good times

Wow Mark, that would really suck to have to get special fuel like that. I can somewhat relate because gas for my Jeep trips come out of my Jeep money. So I still complain about the 87 Octane!

My wife has a plug in Prius (also takes gas). She gets the first 25 miles or so out of the plug in charge. I wish the Jeep could do that, save some cash. Then again, if a Prius is getting 25 miles per charge, the Jeep would probably get 5...

Well my name is will blosser, and when I was in high school, I was captain of the shooting team for ROTC. My coach randomly started calling me willyb, and it stuck. As for the usmc part, my grandpa is a retired Marine and I'm very seriously considering enlisting. So it fits.
