I've been building/rebuilding my 87 k5 jimmy for the past couple years. The keep was bought just bc it gets 17-22 mpg... K5 gets between 4-7 mpg. Just more feasible to have out here in California.

I have ridden dirt bikes for 40 years and my latest bike is a KTM530. I used this name to join a KTM forum years ago and then kept it as I am a member on many forums and it was the only way I could ever remember my log in name for all of them.

Mine is quite simple. I use the same name on numerous sites. mjp is my initials + I am a jr, then 45 is my favorite pistol caliber.

I worked in the commercial and public-safety two-way radio field from 1973 until I retired in 2010. I still volunteer on the FCC Region 6 (Northern California) Regional Planning Committee.

DTM = Dan the Man
Actually started as a name a few girls gave me when I was a lifeguard (Dan Theman, as my name is Dan) . It stuck when I joined a Mountain Biking Club as DTM. My wife MTB's too and she is TTW = Tamey the Woman

This one kinda makes sense for us:
JK is for John and Kelly we have a Sahara 2008. We joked about the JK when we got the jeep this year.

I started surfing in 1964 at the Huntington Cliffs, and from that point on, every opportunity I was given to get out of Buena Park and head down to PCH I took it. So when I got out of the Navy in 1973 I figured moving to Huntington Beach was the logical choice because I knew I would be spending most of my time there anyway. My mission was to end up as close to PCH as I could afford so I could walk to the surf. I currently have a home 2 blocks away, but there was a time I lived above Jack's, and right on PCH. So hwy1rubi comes from my passion to be close to the coast and I own JKUR.
