I'm back!!! [Pending Permission]

Hello all,

Some may have wondered where in the hell I have been for the past six months, and maybe you had come to the conclusion that I died. Well, a lot has happened since any of you last saw me. Since October 16th I have become a father.

Her name is Charlotte and she enjoys sleeping, eating, laughing at the dog and overloading diapers. My wife and I couldn't be happier and we are very lucky to have one of those calm, quiet babies that usually sleeps through the night.

Now that we are getting used to this whole parenting thing, I have been given the green light for day trip runs and the occasional overnighter. I won't be able to get away for a run every weekend like I used to try for, but I'd take a short drive down a long fire road at this point! My Jeep and I are excited and hope to see you guys soon.

-Brandon

Congrats dude. Yah I figured that's what's been keeping you occupied. Her birthday is 1 day before and 19 years after my youngest son's birthday.

We're hitting Calico this Saturday if you want to join us. Then there's the big M&G in March, also in Calico.

Thanks! So...right now the runs are kind of up in the air for me. Have to get things situated at home for the new addition late April/early May. We are also in the process of trying to get a new house. There are a lot of things going on so trips for me are kind of unknown

Congrats man! Pretty soon, she'll be your excuse to go wheeling! My 20 month old daughter is always asking to go for a ride in the Jeep. We took her on her first camping trip at 3 months old. It takes some work to make it go smoothly, but doable. My daughter has spend almost an entire month of her life sleeping in a tent in some remote area. They grow to love nature pretty quickly! Let it be your guys' connection!

Awesome cute little baby girl, congrats to you & the mother! Based on my two adult daughters though, just wait 'til she hits 14 though... hoo baby those hormones hit about then & wow does life change.

Looking forward to seeing you out on the trail again, try to make Calico in March!

Thank you all. I will check on the thread for the meet and greet in Calico. That seems far enough ahead for me to plan out. I would love to come out this Saturday, but I have family from Seattle coming down... that seems to be happening a lot more lately!

Geoff,

Congrats man! I was excited and terrified at the same time. I'm not going to you that it is all fun and games, but I can say without question the good outweighs the bad.

Guys, cherish these times. They'll be gone before you know it. My fondest memories of all time are of me holding my infant child in my arm. No better feeling in the world.

Yep I think about that all the time, and wish I would have had more.

But congrats on the new baby, one more jeeper.

Congrats.

Am with JB, hang onto the memories they bring before the horomones kick in. Watch the movie Turning 40... the teen in there does an awesome job. They should call them horrormones.

Enjoy and love 'em.

Congrats Geof. I am happy for you and your wife.

Enjoy these early moments guys because they do not come back. As they grow older their demands grow with them. Before you know it they will leave the nest.

Congrats All.

Joe.
