So I'm watching a vid on Calico now. If that's where the group is heading, I will probably pass on this run. I watched Miller last night, I would be down for something like that.

If you all choose Calico though, take some good pics and video, I would love to see you all romp through it.

Okay. So all I'm saying is this. Even a bone stock Wrangler can get through Calico. If the driver just slows his, or her roll, picks a good line, and trusts the spotter, they should be fine. Under armor and sliders are necessary in my opinion. But others have made it without them. I'm just so ready to get back on the rocks, that I get a little crazy. If I offended anyone, I apologize. LET'S WHEEL!!!

So tell us how you really feel... I have only been to Calico the one time this past March and loved it. Its an awesome place to wheel!! With that said, Big Bear is awesome as well and quite a bit cooler...Just my 2 cents. If that makes me a girl, I have been called worse....

Yeah, I get a little crazed about the Rocks. And the girls I know that wheel, are crazier than me. I just have something to prove to myself at CALICO!!! Last time, I ignored my spotter, pushed too hard on the skinny pedal, and destroyed the undercarriage on my heap. Although it made for a great excuse to get my lift. So yeah, I'm ready for Redemption. And one last time, if I offended anyone, I apologize.
LET'S WHEEL!!!

Heh. My Jeep is barely a month old, I'm not looking to smash it on the rocks just yet. I don't have the mods or the experience (seeing as I haven't even put it in 4 wheel yet) to be doing some of the stuff I saw on that video. My Jeep, my pace.

No worries. If the group decides on somewhere else, I'll concede. Just have my heart set on Calico. And your Jeep is extremely capable. Trust me.

Looks to me like Calico has the most votes so far. Heat would be fine by me too. I really would love to go, just a little gun shy. Would probably not be a bad idea to just get out there and do it. Trial by fire and all.

FYI you guys...Been looking at reservations for BB for the 13th weekend...no sites! First come first serve....may have to rethink BB so soon. I don't know it like the back of my hand and may be too much of a hassle to try and get a big group in the same place. Miller would be easier ...and Calico if you can stand the heat. Food for thought..

Maybe you should just show the fellas your secret place Lorie. Lol. It's beautiful up there, and would save you hours of driving. But wherever you go, get a wheel up in the air for me. Lol. Work Sucks!!!

Wow..ok BB is out. It's too crowded right now with school being out and families getting out. Reservations are non existent.

So that leaves Miller/Yellow Jacket and the surrounding trails or Calico. My only concerns for Calico are for the older rigs..do we need to worry about rigs overheating? Would it just be easier to hit Miller? It's pretty where we'll camp and even though it's not as narley as Calico or BB, it's still fun.

Let me know what you guys really want to do..my tally shows a tie between the 2 right now I'm still down for either one..so my vote doesn't count
