If I stopped breaking mine cutting across the parking lot and on rocks I'd upgrade it.

Only the people who are bitching about everyone else.

Who cares what people use their Jeeps for. When i had my old YJ i had it in 4wd probably 4-5 times a week because i used to access fishing areas and to take people out that i was guiding for fly fishing trips.

Fast forward 15 years and I have since sold that Jeep, had a subaru for a while and now own a JKU. I am realistic in that my Jeep will not see offroading to often because of other commitments, hobbies, school etc...btu i can say that i will be upgrading the stuff i want to upgrade full well knowing it won't be used to it's capability.

I woudl probably say 95% of the jeeps that people off road are not on trails where the upgrades they did are needed anyways. It is pretty rare that someone is making upgrades and mods to their jeep solely based on function and not looks...
