Just be glad she let's you go! And camping goes hand in hand with wheeling for me. It's a blast on the trail, but camp gets crazy.. And that's really where ya get to know people.

If we didn't let each other write our own stories, then we wouldn't be together! We are good at letting each other do the things we do. It's a good way to live.

Anyhow, I'll show up wherever you tell me the jeeps will be on May 10.

'

HI Parker's Buddy

Read through the thread..there may be a possible change...and if so, we won't be meetng at the flying J. I always keep the first post to the thread updated, so as soon as I make another call to the Ranger station tomorrow, I will update it. Looks like they may have changed their minds on when they are going to do trail clean up.

If we end up not being able to run Miller, and the other trails off Fraizer Park are closed as well still, we'll meet in the park at the practice area.

If the other trails are open, we'll meet at the Flying J. But again, I'll know tomorrow and post up and then update the first post on this thread.

Looking forward to meeting ya!

OK Lorie, as you know, while I haven't made any runs in like FOREVER, I still follow the threads and your runs. Dude hit me up to swap some on-call weekends plus Nicole has a swim banquet coming up so now I dont know what my schedule will be for weeks.

Ridiculous.

On top of that, Debbie hit me up AGAIN today about going wheeling.

Don't know what to tell ya. Seems most of my old crew has vanished for one reason or another. My friends thread is nonexistent and people just seem uninterested in making it it a priority. Thank god there isn't a shortage of people who want to wheel with me. :-) For me.. Nothing has changed and I will always be here, wheeling every 2-3 weeks like clockwork.

Maybe someday you'll surprise me and show up.. Until then, you know you'll always have the threads, FB, pics and videos ;-)

Looking back on it all, I'd say things happened for a reason..because now look at all the changes due to FB. Who would have guessed I'd be going to Australia? God works in mysterious ways.

So, if the trip becomes HV... What will the Sunday plan be? Or is it just going to be a 'depart in the morning' kinda gig?

HV is just a park full of trails..easy trails. You can't really get lost. I'm going to cut out Sunday due to my trip to Aussie Land, but you'll see after Saturday..you guys can still have fun without me Download the map to the park and look at it. It's on the first post...

I'm going to get down to the bottom of it today Parker. Two of the top guys are telling me 2 different things And the last Ranger told me it was a go over a week ago..

It's so hard to find good help these days

I will call the Ranger for the 4th time this AM as soon as they open

Either way....the practice area is fun if we need some adventure..esp for the newer wheelers...the Sluice Box will make them pay attention as well as some other things. It's still a great run for the newer wheelers who don't have any experience on the rocks and/or flexing. Now they can get a taste; whether on Miller or in the practice area.

And camp..well..you have yet to be at camp with these guys. Ya never know what's going to happen..it's been interesting to say the least They don't call Tina and Ted TNT for nothin'. I'm just sayin The bug spray around camp should have been the first tip off And Mandy...well......she's in a class totally of her own!

Okay guys! Just off the phone again with the ranger station. Was told May 1st again... As per the supervisor. Regardless whether the club who cleans it runs it first or not. Rangers move trees too.

Look, here's the deal.. If they go to open it and there's a problem, we will know ahead of time for our run. I will call again Friday, May 2nd to confirm its open.

We'll go from there! ;-)

Hey Lorie, long time no wheel..
I might be able to make Saturday, cant camp because its moms day on Sunday. Getting new gears this week so I'm wanting to test them out before BBFF. So, I checked with the Ranger this morning they said Miller is suppose to open on May 1st. One would assume that the trail maintenance would be done prior to May 1st?

So Tina and I just figured out that Parker and his buddy were our friends for the day in Azusa Canyon for the Banks Power outing. Lmao. What's up Parker? We are much more comfortable with our Jeep now. Can't wait to hang with you guys again. Small jeep world.
