There are times when it is nice just to get out in the desert and enjoy the scenery as it looks like you guys did on this run. I have not been to Joshua Tree for ever it seems and it would be nice to return to take in the beauty again.

Berdoo Canyon Road had a few obstacles that we tackled en masse near Berdoo Camp. There is the hardcore BABY ROCKHOUSE CANYON that meets Berdoo Canyon Road.

The Brooklyn Mine Jeep Trail can be a challenge after a strong rain. I ran it while a trio of Land Rovers stood by unable to make it to the beginning of the trail - the rocks were so loose and big! Brooklyn Mine is a real fun trail - on par with Gold Mountain Trail in Big Bear - thanks to the rocks and climbing (and camping opportunities).
