Yah know Rick, my motorcle budies and I head out to Spangler in the fall for a shooting weekend. Its near Ridgecrest and Trona and mostly BLM land. Last Chance Canyon and Nightmare Gulch is about 30 mins away. You can legally shoot out there and you see pepole set up little ranges all the time. We have a blast, I'll let you know next time we go after it cools down.

Yeah, let me know! There were a couple runs for Last Chance/Nightmare last year and I couldn't go. So I've been wanting to run those.

The 'wragler forum.com' banner at the top of the page was taken at one of those runs that I missed. I could've been famous!

I could do the 10th or the 17th. I agree that the first week in Jan is too close to the holidays. Looks awesome!

I'm in but will be staying at the Desert Ironwoods. In the meantime grab your dad and let's go sailing.

Hey Gary, Congratulations on your new boat. I told you we don't sail but we will meet up with you at Catalina or? I like to turn the key and look for fish.

Hey Mark, we have to leave early Sunday morning to get back to Laguna Niguel so Dakota can make it back to Santa Barbara ahead of the weekend traffic. We have all winter to wheel so let's.

The weekend of 10/25-26 is Borrego Days. Come on down.

See you soon, Grant

I'll call you from there.

Forgot to update this thread after going out...
We didnt make it down to Truckhaven but we did find a good place for those who want to arrive early on Friday. Im calling it the "Trenches" and they are not too far from town. They aren't too hard, but you need plenty of clearance, 33" tires, and no fear of beating up the outside parts of your rims. Lockers aren't necessary but if you have them they are nice to have. You get into some really tight places, in some spots I get within inches of hitting mirrors and tub. Otherwise a really fun little trail that we created and will put your nerves to the test. There are also some mud hills, and mini-dunes in the area.

We have a group that goes out to truckhaeven for New Years. I think we're showing up New Year's Day and staying till the weekend. Hopefully we can meet up with you guys.

I'm interested once there is a date. Looks like fun!

I'll probably just be a day runner for any camping weekend. Anyone going out the next week or 2?

2 More Months!!! Lets pick a date! I put the campground fees on the first post and took the weekend after the new year off because it just seemed too close.

Post up...

PS: Please stop De-railing this thread. Take it to another thread Thanks
