Jeep Badge Of Honor

Have you all gotten your badges yet?

I have John Bull and Holcolm Creek in Big Bear, Snake and Rubicon Ridge in Arkansas.

Now the question is where to put them on the Jeep?

Nice Don! I had no idea about those badges.

I don't have any, so looks like I need to run all of the trails again so I can get my badges!!

Looks like a cool program. Only real issue is cell service. How can you log in if their is no service. I know their is no service at the Rubicon Trailhead.

We can make our own, most of the ones there are not in California. What the hell?

Hey Bill, no I am still in AR. Got extended for a bit longer.

Regarding the reception, the app does have a radius that it allows. So if you can't get reception at the actual trail you can try a little bit away from it.

I wouldn't mind flying a few of those badges if they didn't have that stupid/embarrassing "Official Badge of Honor" saying on them. I also noticed they have John Bull & Split Mountain but not any of the harder trails like in Johnson Valley.

Jeep Badge of Honor analytics of users reviews at MetricsCat.com

Check out the reviews on the app before you sign up. It supposedly mines personal data on your phone. Not really cool if those reviews are accurate.

Are you employed or connected to Jeep in any way (other than ownership)? How long did it take for you to get your hard badges after checking into those trails? Some friends and I have done 11 trails since late June and have yet to see a hard badge. Starting to wonder if this program is still active or more cynically, if only people with a connection to Jeep actually get the badges. We are over two months since our first check-in and still waiting... Frustration is setting in.

Just received mine from TSF in Oregon. Took about 2 months for mine to arrive. I am not really worried about the "data farming" lots of apps request social media logins, nothing new there. It just aids in posting achievements and such.
Still have to figure out where I want to mount the badges tho...

Got 11 badges last night. Took about 3 1/2 months from the first check-in. They look great. Surprising to me that badge fulfillment takes almost as much time to receive as custom ordering a Wrangler!

I've been fighting with Jeep for over a month just to get credit for the Holy Cross Trail here in Colorado. Over a dozen times I tired unsuccessfully to log into the trail via the mobile app since there was no service. Its supposed to use your GPS to authenticate, but it was still attempting to use cell service to load the trail list. I've substantiated my claim, provided coordinates I noted, and I've even successfully uploaded trail photos, but still no word on my badge in over 5 calls to Jeep, two case numbers, etc.

Glad to see some of you are successful with the program.

It is all honesty system here, but just get a gps cheater app on your phone and follow the directions.
Smart phones have a settings option to turn on 'developer mode' so that app creaters can test gps functions.
That is what I did anyways (and yes, I have really done those trails)

This is a very clever system by Chrysler to void your warranty

WTH? I thought things like body damage, desert pinstriping, scuffed up wheels, dents & scratches all over underneath, mods, god awful MPG, and haggling with the dealer over your mods and offroading habits to get warranty work done were the real badges of honor . . . not little trophey style stick on plaques from the factory.

Cause you can't have both? I like the badges to remind me of the places I've been and the memories there

Badges we don't need no stinking badges . . just walk around the Jeep . . . those scrapes are from the waterfall on Odessa, that dent in the gas tank is from when I slipped off the rock on John Bull, that rear corner got covered with armor after a little mishap on the Dusy . . . it's a Jeep, not a scrapbook. The little plaques would look cool on the wall of the shop or garage though, I have to admit.

I have to agree, I would not put those on my Jeep. I don't even like any kinds of stickers.

I don't know man . . . I think my opinion would be totally different if they were stickers instead of the little plaques. That way I could use them to cover up the rear half of my rattle canned roll cage that the cheap bastards at the factory didn't bother to paint.
