There really is no tuning for cb radio. They only really work with line of sight..I have been playing radio for 15 years. I also have ham radio. Basically plug and play and unlimited range. They work off towers basically. Love it. And you can usually put the radio under the seat and just mount the face plate and you can have an antenna only 6 inches long for some radio bands

As long as your antenna is grounded. Most jeep mounts bolt on to a stock location making an ok ground.. You should be fine. Antenna length usually fixes it. I have an SWR meter that will gelp

It's on the other side of the freeway from the start of Cleaghorn. It's a easy trail, climbs up that mountain then rides the ridge for a few miles then it drops down into Lytle Creek.

Cleghorn, Sunday March 3rd
Start time about 10:00am
Mite do Sheep Creek afterward. Meeting under the bridge at Cleghorn Rd exit off I-15.
This run takes a few hours so bring something to eat and water. This trail is easy with some moderate run off loops

The second trail is fire road. We could run Cleaghorn to the tower then double back on the fire road, and then hit Sheep Creek. That way we get a little technical stuff not just fire road. I know a detour off Cleaghorn that passes 10 feet from Silverwood Lake, then we would come out by Cajon junction those who want to do sheep creek can go from there. W/e just a few options, like I said before I don't care where we go.

I'm excited now, can't wait. I got an extra CB that temporary installs so if anyone coming doesn't have a CB they can borrow it for the run.

There are a handful of off shoots that loop back to the main road that are more challenging. All the way to the last one that has a choice of almost straight down or rock crawling down switchbacks .
You would like the wheeling in AZ.

My buddy with the Cherokee will be coming along with us, so we might have to avoid any "tippy" situations, and meet up with you guys at the next off shoot.

Stock jeeps were rocking these trails. Jeep tests the rubicon on the rubicon trail and rubicon, Cherokee, and liberty in moab Utah. Your buddy will be fine. Plus no man left behind! Between us all there is plenty of help.

I do most of the hills @ Cleaghorn up till the 1 with the donut track to the left of the trail entrance, not sure if that's a good description, but I don't go down that trail, I need to walk it or go with someone else first. It looks pretty rough. I keep it pretty easy, I can't afford to jack my Jeep up.
