Glad the surgery went well for her, but is a bummer she will be laid up so long. She may forget how to ride her bike..

If she is doing well enough to be alone, come out and join us...

Tracey offered to Tameysit if you need her...

Everyone have fun up there. And Dan and Tamey, we had fun wheeling with you the last couple of times. Candy was just telling Tamey about her knee, how she tripped over our bulldog when they were both trying to welcome me home. The bulldog won. We both hope she feels better and heals up soon. Mark and Candy.

The rest is a long story. I bought a D35 w/ 4.56 gears off an XJ from someone who shall remain somewhat anonymous. It was represented that there were no problems and that I'd be able to use the gears and the carrier and swap them onto mine. Turned out that they were shredded and pretty useless. I don't think he knew, so I'm trying not to be too mad. I only paid $100 for it, so not a huge deal.

Anyway, change of plans led to Stan having to track down another open D35 carrier, brand new re-gearing front and back, rear lunchbox locker, tires, and a spare XJ axle shaft...but no chromoly axle shaft.
No that I think anyone was paying attention to the trials and tribulations of my axle, but after saying this the other day, I just wanted to say that the other party involved made things right. Actually much more so than necessary...so its all good.

Good that it worked out, I know when things with my rig go wrong it bugs the hell out of me.

$100 for an axle?? Sounds like a good deal even if there was a problem with it.

Bill did you and Steve get to do a pre-run?

BTW, I ordered a gas tank skid after I bashed mine last week, and will be installing Monday when it comes in, just for John Bull.

No I couldn't get away yesterday and Steve went to JV...We will all have to see it for the first time this season together...always some changes...

Yeah, good call on the GTS, that's an area you don't want damage...

Hey Bill, I'm thinking I'd like to try your earlier run. Do you have a map location for the gatekeeper or where you are meeting up? And do you still have room? Andy

Hey Andy, I just did a count and it looks like you would make 12 so I am good with that if you want to join us! I think 12 was the cap I had in mind so let me know either way. Thx
