Are you sure these directions are correct Bill? If I remember correctly when I made a left on to 3n10 from 3n32, the trail was flat and twisted thru some trees. Further up on 3n10 we came to a climb with some rocks. But nothing that hard. We wheeled that trail for around a mile or so. When we came to a meadow we got off 3n10 on to some other trail fearing 3n10 will get difficult.

Yeah, Im sure...here is a map. Did you maybe start at the real beginning of 3n10 from 3n02 and then take a left at 3n32?

Hey Bill, the coordinates you gave me puts you at the intersection of 3N32 and 3N10. Is this where the gatekeepr is and our meeting place.
If so then from 3N16 you should make a left onto 3N32 to get up to 3N10 as shown in the map.
The start point of the highlighted area in the map is at the intersection of 3N02 and 3N10. Is this where we are meeting??

Also are we going to be using CB channel 21??

Thanks.

Thanks Brad.

All I need to know is our meeting point. It seems that we are not sure about that location.
Maybe we should all meet at the intersection of 3N09 and 3N16 and go from there. Or better yet maybe meet at the Big Bear Lake discovery center off the 38 and go from there ??

That sounds great Brad.
I noticed you are in Redondo Beach. I am in West LA. Are you heading out Saturday morning? Do you take the 405 to the 10 ? If so may be we can caravan together. I might have to stop briefly in Rancho Cucamonga, near the intersection of 210 and I15, to pick-up my brother.

i take the 105 to 605 to 210 and follow that to the 330 into big bear. you can take the 10 out from west LA, but at somepoint shoot up to the 210.

i may head up friday afternoon or saturday am but not sure yet. if i go up saturday am we can meet up somewhere. ill keep you posted.

Yes, the coordinates take you to the intersection of 3n32 and 3n10 which is the gatekeeper. The trail has a moderate section before that, which is the the start of the highlighted area. Maybe I didnt word it clearly, but I said that you take a right on 3n16 and a left on 3n32. If Brad or others want to meet somewhere else, thats fine. I will be at the GK before 10 and will meet you there.

Hey Gang,

Work unfortunately screwed my Saturday up, and I will be unable to join anyone for JB. I even was unable to go sneak a beer in at JPi (which has me the most sad) but the good news is that we are finally ending a project, it just ran a bit long. Oh well, that's part of the biz... have fun guys, and leave some paint there for me.
