it's not so much how much trouble you'll get into, it's the amount of damage you'll take. if youre fine with that, i'll add you to the list. i just don't like when i lead a group of people out and prewarn them about the requirements and they end up hating me for taking them through it. if you can accept that, you will be ok.

a locker isn't really required if the driver has experience. but it's very helpful and could save you from taking a lot of damage. after all, i've done it with 35's and no lockers... but i did wuss out on the harder lines.

Funny you should say spare tire. BfG km2's not available at discount/america tire have to get from michigan and wont get it until probally wed. i was thinking of going without a spare its not that my tires are bad I just want a spare in case. I have been there before and know the rocks not as jagged there but you never know. Maybe if had a issue a fellow jk could lend one if needed ? Hopefully not needed. If its a prob let me know.

i got a 37" spare that is rounded to 35.5" in actual diameter. we bring 1 spare usually for 2 jeeps. (only 1 of our jeeps is alive) if that works for you, youre more than welcome... i got family in temecula, so youre not to far.

i didn't mean to eliminate you or single you out on the spare. so youre welcome to come. our spare 37x17" km2 is coming. so if you need it, or if we both get flats, we're screwed!

Somehow the calendar math doesn't add up. JV has some good trails, hoping to do the Hammers thanksgiving weekend.

[QUOTE=pluke the 2;2917543]INFO:

Here is the plan. We're going to be running primarily Bullfrog Trail with a mixture of trails that collide. But the main trail will be Bullfrog. I don't think I've ever lead this trail before, but I have been there a few times.

Trail Description:

This trail has many different obstacles for lots of different experienced drivers. Some but not all have bypasses. We recommend you bring a CB radio for communications. This trail calls out for 3 Hours and could take up to 4-5 hours depending on situations we might encounter. So, please keep this in mind. Everyone starts the trail and we will all finish the trail.

MEET:

Let's plan on meeting off the 15N at this location at 8:30 A.M.

Bravo Burgers, 14508 Valley Center Drive, Victorville, CA 92395

Bravo Burgers, 14508 Valley Center Drive, Victorville, CA 92395 - Google Maps

TRAIL:

REQUIREMENTS:

Haha, from the guys who missed mottino wash last weekend.

Just got the heads for the kids truck. Should have it done before sat. We'll plan on meeting u at the trailhead behind CB. 15n is out of our way. Later.

Doyle I'll have a spare, but only time I've seen someone lose a tire on bf, was from a swaybar in the sidewall. Doubt you'll have an issue, bud.

OK I'm torn between here, gatekeeper at calico or run with the guys at sledgehammer....

How's this trail compare to gatekeeper, I know sledgehammer is a beast and that's cool but scott is still fixing his jeep from the last run there a week ago...chad can't afford to break, Edgar fixing his from jv recently so all my bashing friends are bashed out...

bull,

this trail is less demanding than the gatekeeper at calico and is not as gnarly as the hammers.

I loooove me some Cougar Buttes!!! Dang, I wish I could make it but I have to find a tire and replace a brake line.... Mottino was a little rough on me last weekend...

In the meantime, some Cougar Buttes porn... (BTW if you google that make sure you don't leave off the "e" in Buttes or you'll get something totally different )
