Where you thinking of wheeling down there? I didn't know there was any places other than the desert and it's too dang hot for the desert this time of year.

I don't mean to pee in your cornflakes, but Calico is projected to be 106 - 110 on the holiday weekend. Big Bear will be cooler, but there will be thousands of people on the trails because of the holiday.

I'll be sitting by the pool drinking Margaritas most of the weekend.

My Jeep has A/C! I'm used to the heat, I'm already up here. All the people may be a downfall however it's fun to watch them! Get out the chairs and have my own cool one!

have fun by the pool, I'll be Jeepin'!

I might be in big bear at the rock gardens kicking back and checking out all the rigs going through.

There's a few of us going thru Miller Jeep Trail this Sat 9/1 . . . will probably still be pretty hot up there but hopefully a lot cooler than the desert??? We'll be meeting at the Flying J (Fraiser Park at 8:30). Let me know if anyone is interested.

You could go a little further north (Shaver Lake area) for the Swamp Lake/Bald Mnt. runs.
