I am interested in going. It's too bad the land will not be used for OHV. I am out for the last weekend of April. If it's the beginning of May then that should be doable. I will check the thread for updates.

I can do the first weekend in May. I can arrange it. I'm there! I'll probably end up staying in a tent.

I'll see what I can do, but I'm not so sure my parents will let me go 322 miles.

Im ther dude! Gauranteed! Just got my cb radio installed, my rock lights, my new rear bumper is ont the way, lifted my seats 1 1/4 inch. Maybe by June I'll have a lift, or a winch, or I don't what but something will be upgraded. The weather will be beautiful in June. Perfect time to go. Just get me the exact date. I'll send the message to my buddies too.

I'ts going to be like Lake Havasu except instead of our boats and jetskiis we'll be with the Jeeps!

sweet guys its gonna be q blast, we will have night runs, morning runs afternoon runs. mr B even if you dont have a lift or lockers or bigger tires your jeep will still out perform most in its current state. from my experience, stock or close to stock vehicles do better then most driven correctly in the sand. All terrain tires are better then muds out there too.

Looms like fun. It also looks like a real easy way to break an axle. I'm going to have to control myself when I get there. I've never been to Pismo before. With all those trucks around, where do you set up the tents?

we usually try and setup a wind break of some sort and put the tents wherever.

so far the head count is about 15 trying to make it out there.

yea theres motor homes and trailers all over the beach, as long as you have a good 4wd truck pulling it you can park it at our location in the beach.

sweet sounds good. they should be fine, if they run into trouble we will have plenty of tow rigs around to help get there trailer in place. you just have to make sure you get far enough away form the high tide.

I towed my jeep on a trailer with my 2wd open diff, regular cab short bed hemi with no issues. you can reserve a camp pass on reserveamerica.com there is no "campsite" you just pull up and park where you want. before you drive down with a 2wd setup you should scope and mark the spot you want to park. the last thing you need to do is try and make uturns in the sand with a trailer behind you. Most guys get stuck. Ill be there friday sometime and ill make sure you have my number and CB channel to get ahold of me. its gonna be a blast. the official thread is in the Ca chapter of Fourwheeler.com

Feel free to post up and make some pismo friends. its gonna be a blast.

I'll be on there soon. Btw, I fixed my 4L so I'm good to go. If someone had told me that all I needed to do was loosen a bolt, spray some wd-40, and move the shifter a few times before tightening it back up.
